I did not expect the twist. I remember my ex-gf (we're both girls, obviously). Noong wala pang music video 'to, nirecommend 'to ng friend ko and i always listen to this right before I sleep. And everytime I do listen naiisip ko yung gf ko, para bang pinapakinggan ko 'to and iniisip ko na kinakanta ko to sa kaniya indirectly. Basically, naaalala ko siya dito. At first I thought it was a regular MV with a man and a lady. Kaya sabi ko "ayy okay as usual". But when the time na inabot na yung sketch na nasa frame sabi ko "HALAAAAA!!!" and I was crying until the end. The whole thought pala is about same sex relationship. The MV just hits differently - especially for a gay person like me. It shows how love can go beyond one's gender. Giving us more reason to believe that love can do conquer all - love does win.

Kapag dumadaan 'to sa nf ko naaalala ko ex ko sa RPW. Nagsend siya ng link nito dati, dalawa 'yun and ito una kong pinanood. I didn't appreciate this song before because I was still confused about my gender identity. We are both girls and I fell in love with her first. I thought nagandahan lang ako sa kaniya kaya ako nakipag-rs. I didn't mind having relationship with the opposite sex that time since my mind says that it is just RPW and I can do anything without telling anyone who really I am. Every time she does something sweet it makes me cringe. But when we split apart, nasaktan ako ng todo kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na totoong mahal ko na siya kahit babae pa kami pareho, doon ko lang naappreciate lahat ng ginawa niya. isa 'to sa mga song na madalas kong pakinggan lately, i consider this song as one of my favorite na. hindi ko alam na may music video na pala, nakita ko lang sa fb and sabi na nila maganda daw ang plot twist ng music video. at first may idea na ako kasi yung naka post sa fb is yung part na mag kasama na ang dalawang couples. i can't help myself but to cry, para bang dahil dito mayroon akong naramdaman na pag tanggap. mas lalo akong nag kakalakas ng loob na tapangan mag out, hindi pa ako handa pero alam kong nasa proseso naman yun. im just hoping na sana pati yung babaeng gusto ko, matutunan at simulan na rin niyang matanggap kung sino talaga siya. to Nobita, salamat dito. asahan mong patuloy akong makikinig sa mga kanta niyo, pinuno mo ng pag asa ang puso ko kaya salamat :))

i love how this turned out! it defied all the gender discrimination and everything else. love wins, truly. loving anyone unconditionally is the best thing that could ever happen. go with what your heart tells you, be genuine about it. no matter how it turns out, the important thing is you expressed what you feel and you won't feel suppressed. i remember singing this song to the girl that I really like about a year ago. after years of pursuing her, she reciprocated the feeling and she's my gf now.

Wow, didn't expect the plot twist. This MV is really one of the best OPM MV's that I have watched. It made me realize that love is truly really powerful - to the point na it knows no gender, language, culture and barrier basically. I met someone this month that I really liked. And for the first time in my life, nagustuhan nya rin ako! We are still young, but I hope na mache-cherish namin 'to into something deeper when we grow older because we promised to each other that we will wait until the time is right. SKL po pala XD

Galing pa kami byahe nun with fam, tas pag-uwi ko nagchat agad ako sa kanya kahit pagod na pagod ako nung time na yun. Napansin ko, napakacold ng mga replies nya. First time talaga yun, tas tinanong ko agad sya kung anyare, baka galit sya sakin. Tas yun, nagreply bigla ng "Sorry, di na ko (Sorry, ayaw ko na)". Di ko siguro makakalimutan yung sakit na naramdaman ko in that exact moment. Then nagtanong ako sa kanya kung anong dahilan, inistalk nya pala ako tas may nakita sya na shared post ko na meme about ex-crush tas nagcomment pa ako dun ng imissyou"nameniexcrush"HAHAHAHA". I was supposed to delete that shared post earlier pa dahil alam kong hindi nya yun iintindihin as a joke, but di nadelete dahil wala palang signal nung nagbyahe na kami. That was the time na I felt na I was little too late. Anyway, I was genuinely happy naman dun sa short period of time na naging kami. Hanggang ngayon sya parin nasa puso ko and sana we'll still end up eventually (hoping but not expecting anymore dahil naka move on na siguro yun sakin), not now but sooner or later, when ready na kami dalawa, especially ako. There is something in this song that is so addicting maybe because it makes you happy and sad at the same time 🥺

The girl and boy were so cute and sweet but I just can't feel that they've portrayed the song very well. On to the half of the video but I still don't feel the "charm" of the MV and was kinda disappointed since I really love this song and I want it to have a really nice MV. Their smiles and laughter were so adorable but it felt lacking. And then boom the plot twist came, it was actually a pleasant surprise and 'til then, it got me hooked on the MV. I watched it again the second time, and it made more sense. Kaya pala the relationship of the girl and boy felt lacking is because they aren't really lovers. They're cute as besties, pero it's not just about them. In my second watch, I enjoyed it more knowing now how the MV went on. I thought it was just another cliche MV of a cute boy and girl couple, pero nalevel up siya. You don't usually witness both girl couple and boy couple in an MV, and making the girl and boy besties pa. Nakakatuwa. Listening to the song became more romantic and universal. Good job to the team, and Congrats! I really like it. Ahhhh, just thinking about the ending scene is making me wanna cry again.

Going 5 months palang ako sa work, sya matagal na. nakilala ko sya dahil friend sya ng friend ko pero di niya ako kilala. kinuwento lang then tinuro, and sakto nalipat siya sa department ko. Pero yun nga saglit lang sila samin. The first verse of the song really relate on me. The first time I laid my eyes on her really captured me. Like grabe lang nakakalunod. Gusto ko titigan lang talaga yung mga mata niya. sobrang ganda. It tells everything on her. It tells her soul. Syempre nagtry ako magpapansin sa kanya pero waley. haha Nakakarami ako ng inom ng tubig para magrefill lagi kasi malapit sya sa dispenser. haha Inadd ko na din sya sa fb pero waley pa din. So tinigil ko na yung pagpapapansin ko kasi babalik na din sila sa department nila. So kala ko wala naman talaga nagandahan lang ako sa mata niya kasi nakamask kami yun lang kita.haha But it said in the song in the bridge part and sa chorus ganun na ganun yung nafefeel ko ngayon. Week past lang, kami naman yung kailangang lumipat sa department nila and magtatagal na kami doon.Pero di ko naman naisip nun na makikita ko sya doon kasi sobrang laki ng department nila pero men parang nagslowmo talaga nung unexpected ko siyang nakita ulit. As a member of the lgbtqia+ community, This is very touching, and watching the music video while listening to the lyrics made me cry. Thank you for giving us the impression that love can take any form. that love is powerful and that it can appear in any way for everyone. Congratulations to everyone who worked on this song and music video.

I met this genuine person, and yes, classmate ko siya ('di ako naniniwala sa no to classmate rule). At first takot akong mag approach kase baka 'di niya ako kavibes or whatever, then later on naging close kame. We do review our lessons through video call, and even share our music/playlist with each other. Until last month, naintroduce niya saakin ang Ikaw Lang - I consider this as a masterpiece. To make the story short, I saw a Facebook post na may MV na ngang nairelease. Dali-dali ko siyang chinat para sabay namin panoorin, for the first time. While watching, i was thinking that this might be the same story of a friendship then later magkakaroon ng affair ang isa sa iba. BUT NO, nagulat kame sa naging plot twist. Hindi siya nakontento kaya pinanood niya ulit, but this time tinitigan ko lang sya sa screen while I run every lyrics through my mind. Later on I realized, maybe this person feels the same way about me. No one confessed their feelings yet, but I think the smiles says it's mutual. Ikaw Lang still brings me chills even nung una ko siyang napakinggan at bago pa nagrelease ng MV. Hanggang dito na lang muna ... babalikan ko na lang ito for updates or whatever...😬 (CRUSHBACK CUTIE) 11/01/22 it's been a year now! UPDATE, nacrush back niya na po ako! i found out that he's a man of few words, kaya every time na sasabihan niya ako na mahal niya ako it really means a lot to me. As he confesses his feelings, we both found out na nagkakahiyaan lang pala kame. Despite the crush back na nangyari saamin, we also had a cold stage where we both distanced each other. That was the time where we both faced different circumstances in our lives-where both of us were to share a glimpse of our problem. Friendship was never an issue for me, because I never pursued him just to be my friend.
