4:31 ngl that’s a brilliant move in Xal’atath’s part. I mean, did we really expect the city to go unscathed considering it’s our main place to launch assaults in our war against the Legion. Khadgar was also a major player in winning the war, the Harbingers knows this-saw it firsthand.

I'm simultaneously excited to see Dwarves in the spotlight compared to the usual humans, elves, and orcs, but also apprehensive because the devs have still been saying Anduin and Alleria are the main characters of the expansion at every opportunity.

When I saw the trailer for The War Within, I was pumped as heel for the expansion, now I'm even MORE pumped watching this! OMG I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

The details on the whole Dalaran and Khadgar situation has to be epic and has to have depth. I really didn’t like how excited you were about it and I still kinda don’t at all… I have too many fond memories of that place… so many hours of my youth spent there for it to be destroyed

@@McSireson you summed up pretty much all the recent expansions. "Big steaks" that did not even get moved a tad and everything rushed. Doing so, now, "just cause" it's also poor planing; it kinda feel like Theramore 2.0 (a city destroyed and a powerful mage killed with it). We also saw how well went with the burning of teldrassil Zzzzz

Just because we think we know what happens, doesn't mean it will be written badly. It makes PERFECT sense why we lose Dalaran, and possibly Khadgar with it. Out of game it also makes sense, considering his voice actor is getting old. I don't want a recasting of Khadgar. He's already perfect.

If Khadgar gets killed off it will be as bad as how they killed off Tirion Fordring.

Yeah I feel the same. Dalaran getting destroyed and then maybe being rebuilt(excuse to update it) is fine. But Khadgar gigachad dying would suck.

Gonna do my best to avoid spoilers this expansion but looking forward to coming back to the video!

Is it just me, or does it bother anyone else that when you wear a helm, your character essentially goes bald, no matter what? It's the one of the few things I've ALWAYS hated about this game. Like if your character has long hair or anything hanging down, why don't they just clip the top of the hair off, and allow the rest to just hang down normally from underneath the helms??

yeah, it's annoying that they don't even have a placeholder that shows just the base of your hair, to excuse potentially it being picked up inside the hat/helmet, or have it stick out in a ponytail based on hair length, or anything. Old tech, never bothered to fix the issue.

I think the "stay awhile and listen" aspects will be a great way for new players to get the lore of the games up till present day would be good or maybe even then get an optional quest from your fation leader or something to get the history of the world from like the bronze dragonflight or the pandaren

Let's take a moment for Khadgar could mean they're waiting for him to recover from something, "let's observe a moment" would sound more definite.

I hope they explain better why Magni can't communicate with Azeroth clearly. I don't want another Shadowlands where we have to fill in the lore with our own theories.

Well, it’s certainly one heck of a way to start an expansion. Right now I’m not really sure how I feel about it, will have to give it some thought.

Like if we did not get a major city burned out just few expansion ago... Wich did not pay that well right after it. At best we can say "they just kill Khadgar out of the game?" Maybe doing a novel for sales, since we know how much stuff make the cut in game Still feel a "shock" move for gain attenction

While I love dragonriding it 100% feels like pathfinder is done out of spite. In WoD it felt like it was out of spite because we hated not having flying and now it feels like "How dare you not like this superior form of flying, Dragonriding. You want your old flying back? Jump through these hoops first!"

the most traumatizing thing about this video is seeing Nobbel react to it on twitch and see he has it set to LIGHT MODE D: THE HORROR!

If we use our real accounts at this stage that will cause who knows how much havock everyware and that will take mounths if not years to fully fix. Even more so when its a alpha/beta phase.

I hate dynamic flying wish they would let those of us that have issues with it to just do regular flying. It is so hard for me it takes twice as long for me to get to the same place as regular flying.

Khadgar dying right away like that is... Not good imo. Seems out of left field a bit. Hopefully we get some context as to why he would fall like that, because I doubt he'd do it so easily ala Tyrion, but hopefully emotionally meaningful ala Rhonin

I'm pretty sure the delves will go up to level 12 (nothing past 8 gives gear its just like a personal challenge thing)

I'll never believe Khadgar is actually dead. Or at least, he's about as dead as Illidan was at the end of TBC. Or as dead as Medivh is. Or as dead as Guldan was. Or as dead as everyone we met in the Shadowlands. Or as dead as Sindragosa is. Or maybe as dead as Vol'jin and Varian.

Obviously we don't know the exact details of how Dalaran was spaghettified; but "if" Xal'atath and the nerubians were responsible for doing so....... is it possible that same technique or spell or weapon was also available to the Black Empire long in the past.... for attacking anything floating above Azeroth? And if so, could that be how the large yellow glowing Crystal in Hallowfall ended up there embedded under the surface thousands of years ago? What if there was a large crystalline Holy Naaru type spaceship which had come to Azeroth back during the Black Empire to investigate, and maybe the Nerubians of that ancient time period also attacked it (with whatever spell or technique or weapon we don't see until the expansion) and caused it to break apart into pieces, where some of those pieces crashed into the soil at different spots on Azeroth. One of such pieces could be the large Crystal in Hallowfall. Then I would throw an even deeper "what if...." following from the above. What if some of those other Holy crystal pieces that fell and buried themselves were discovered later on, when the Titans arrived on Azeroth; and the Titans built entire facilities around those Holy Crystals, and those facilities had the capability to activate the Holy Crystals to cause a holy laser beam that can produce Reorigination and/or zap an Old God that gets imprisoned within those facilities? And yes, those facilities would be places like Ulduar and Uldir and Uldum and Uldaz. We never did get an explanation for why Reorigination beams are Holy Light magic and how the Titans were able to use that if they are so focused on arcane. And yes, the reorigination beams are confirmed in game to be Holy magic, by the relics from Legion that we put into our artifact weapons. The Holy Relic item that drops from Argus is called Reorigination Spark. Maybe the crystal at Hallowfall happens to be one which the Titans had not discovered yet, or maybe knew about but didn't get around to creating a facility there because they got busy arguing with Sargeras.

People say the delves are too easy, but I think it's cause everyone is geared with end-of-expansion gear. I bet when you're lvl 79 with crap leveling gear the delves will be hard.

I'm really happy that after all these years a nerubian raid will be a thing! Ever since the scrapped one in WOTLK it felt like a part of their story was not done justice

So...im holding out hope that this city doesnt get completely nuked and that we just see a part of it being nuked due to *Spoiler* but if it does get to that point...gods damn it...another city...LOST?! like...im so unphased by it at this point.

They said that you will be able to regular fly in the new expansion zones once you get one character to max level. Plus you can still fly slow in all of the other, older zones. They are not getting rid of it.

Damn skibilands killed me interest in the game but and dragonforce but in reverse summary made me turn into a undead man. So i hope they threw the old writing team into the maw and idk,make them watch slyvanus get shot.

Same. Destroying dal and killing Khadgar is putting a sour taste in my mouth before it even have played it. Why can't they kill off someone like Jana? Not that I really want to see Jana killed off, but khadgar has been one of my absolute favorite characters for a long time.

I guess that makes sense about Khadgar. Gotta set the threat level and also get the npcs that could solve our problems for us out of the picture. Plus that dude is super annoying.
