also Nobara is one of the few people.that hard counters Sakuna/Gojo. She doesn't need line of sight to attack their soul and she doesn't have to be stronger than them. She can slowly chip away at their souls.

I am all for Nobara becoming the next Gojo. I hope Nobara put herself in a suspended state and is learning reversed curse technique applied to the soul and proving that Mahito and everyone was wrong about being able to heal the soul thru RCT. Nobara with RCT for soul is like Mahito with access to the soul without the need to actually touch the opponent because she has resonance. Everytime Nobara is attack she can just use the curse energy that touched her to attack the opponent.

THE GUY WHO HEALED NOBARA IS NOT TODOS YOUNGER BROTHER!!! Sorry for yelling had to get it out. That guy was Todos junior at Kyoto high, a first year who wasnt allowed to compete in the goodwill event. Todo calls YUJI his younger brother and that guy actually questions it saying to himself that he thought Todo was an only child, because he is.

I think I should also add to the evidence. When Gojo died and we saw all the past characters that died, one person I was excited to see was Nobara, but whoops, where was she? *wink* *wink*

I think with how the story has unfolded after this video there is an argument to be made that this may be the only way they could salvage the current direction of it. It doesnt make sense for any of these characters to beat Sukuna or atleast reseal him for later conflict, but Nobara coming back for the assist for someone else using the 20th finger could go a long way in smoothing that over because she "died" while she was in the middle of her own development arc. That was a big sticking point for a lot of fans. Its really easy to forget that in universe it has only been what? A few weeks since she "died"? .....and it conveniently happened infront of someone who could atleast halt her injuries in a universe where people can be healed and she herself was in the process of developing abilities that the rest of the main cast use to heal? It would for sure help make the current mess make a bit more sense.

Nobara's situation definitely is a chekhov's gun situation. But so is Yujis body swap panel. Several plot points have been shown and have to come back, we'll have to see. excited to see

​@@miminimiii Two things. 1- Sukuna already made up for that missing finger by eating his corpse right before his battle with Gojo. So the Sukuna during these past few chapters has been at the power of 20 fingers, but its true if he finds that missing finger it might elevate him to 21. 2- We dont even know for sure if Gojo _has_ the finger. That was just Sukuna's explanation on why Uraume couldn't find the last finger, and even if Gojo did he could have hidden it literally anwyhere in the world, whether it be in America or the bottom of the Mariana Trench. At this point in the series, when Sukuna has already mastered the ten shadows and defeated his objectively biggest threat, going on a wild goose chase for one single finger seems stupid.

I hadn’t really thought about it before, but I can definitely get on board with this, especially since Sukuna has seemed to be built up more as the biggest, baddest, scariest monster in the series rather than a more “final boss” type character to me. If that’s actually the way the story has been going, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was taken out sooner rather than later. Some people might hate the idea of Madara happening all over again, but maybe it’d be mitigated if it’s done by a character that’s so well known and loved.

I've been saying for a while that Nobara would be the key to defeating Sukuna, and that she will kill Yuuji to do it. Resonance uses what is essentially quantum entanglement to inflict damage, what happens to one part will happen to the rest. And since Yuuji is now a living cursed object soaked in Sukuna's cursed energy, whatever damage inflicted on Yuuji with Resonance will happen to Sukuna as well. His fingers were protected from damage, but Sukuna never liked Yuuji or did anything to afford the same protections to him, especially since Yuuji was never told she survived just like the others weren't told that Yuuji survived so Sukuna doesn't know either. I think it fits that the one of the trio to really embody Gojo's selfish confidence right from her introduction was Nobara, and she'll mirror her teacher's past choices in having to kill her best friend to save the world, and that friend will be Yuuji who just like Geto got his power from consuming cursed energy and was in turn consumed by jujutsu society.

You don't need to be able to identify the core of energy in order to perform a black flash, performing a black flash is what HELPS YOU identify it. It's stated numerous times pre, during, and post Shibuya that the black flash happens semi-randomly. This is due to requirements being more or less out of scale with human ability. Hitting it within .0001s of a second. Or roughly having a reaction time, somewhere about 10-100x greater than the best athletes in history have ever achieved. Todo's requirements then might seem unreasonable, and definitely are, the man's a lunatic but he's also keyed in on a spoiler, in that it's likely that by instinct or experience, he's gotten to grips with the fact that Yuji is literally not quite human. When he goes on about that metaphor about human eyes, it's likely the way he's translated his understanding of Yuji's own ability to perceive and adapt.

12:48 Sukuna wasnt beaten. He was completely undefeated. He worked with Kenjaku to have his soul put into the 20 fingers so that he could reincarnate later on when Kenjaku (quite literally) made Yuji as a vessel for Sukuna. The concept of Sukuna being beaten in the past may have been an error from Gege as he was writing the story and was then retconned by having Sukuna "killed" by Kenjaku by having his soul put into his 20 fingers. It even says how Sukuna died of natural causes around the chapters where Sukuna takes his bath and is looking at his old body that Tengen kept safe

Slight misconception if Im not mistaken Sukuna was never beaten but he was “sealed” I think we’ll find out more in Sukuna’s eventual backstory what led to that. Im not sure if I remember if its said explicity that Kenjaku turned Sukuna into a cure object and he’s the one that sealed him but Sukuna did learn the techniqure from him. I don’t think Kenjaku was the one that sealed him because if he planned to work with him later he would want to make it is easy as possible (you would think).

This makes even more sense after the leaks.

I think the more likely outside character (meaning not gojo) to kill sukuna and save megumi would be yuji because of the "guilt" they both felt about the situation. Yuji felt guilty because if he hadn't eaten the finger the other fingers wouldn't have been activated, and megumi felt guilty because he was the reason yuji ate the finger basically. They also hinted that yuji does have an innate technique(chpt 222) and that is why he was able to control sukuna so easily, also probably why sukuna knew yuji's body wouldn't be a proper fit. If nobora is still alive, or was revived, there really wouldn't be a reason for her not to be watching the fight with them now. But I wouldn't say definitely she is dead because she does seem to fight off the transfiguration a bit like nanami did when he reinforced his soul with cursed energy. I'm not saying she knew to do that or did it at all, but if she had her awakening in that instance like gojo did she possibly could be back, but I just wouldn't understand pulling the same shtick again, just with the readers as well this time, like with when yuji died but sukuna healed him.

From a technical standpoint, Nobara’s death is not confirmed. However, it’s been stated multiple times in the manga that Idle Transfiguration cannot be reverted with rct. It’s a cursed technique that meddles with the shape of the soul. Currently, there are no jujutsu sorcerers that can reshape a soul except for (potentially) Kenjaku who has a hold of Mahito. To conclude, I doubt nobara will be revived without a sort of last-second-ass-pull of a plot twist. Edit: Don’t get me wrong, it’d be hype to see Nobara get revived since she’s also one of my favorite characters as well. However, with the evidence presented by the manga, and the fact Nobara was as hopeless as she was before her death, I’m 99.99% certain she’s pretty dead 💀

It cannot be healed by regular reverse technique but maybe the reverse of Nobara's cursed technique can heal the soul directly... after all her technique is stated as the counter of mahito's and theres another alive user of her technique that is her grandma who trained her in her hometown and who wrote her recomendation letter to jujutsu tech so she has pull on jujutsu society an i feel they said that nobara insisted on going to the city but her training was not complete... all of this was stated by gege and maybe some of the grandma stuff is from an sbs or something idk but theres to much to not be setting something up so maybe her grandma heals her or maybe she heals herself (with some help) but then she stays to finish training but doesnt say because she is getting back at yuji and she cames back with a power up with a soul healing and bonus they can heal todo now!

This is a very cool theory, but I want you to talk about another theory relating to Sukuna's 20th finger. The theory that Yuji was made from Sukuna's 20th finger somehow due to Kenjaku's meddling

We saw in previous chapter when sukuna swapped bodies with megumi and yuji and sukuna were fighting and sukuna says “kenjaku sure is twisted” what did he mean by that? Can anyone explain plsssss 😅

@Wierdman69 i think this might have something to do with it. Additionally when he ran past megumi at the beginning, he picked up Sukuna's energy, even though Yuji only had the box. Megumi assumed he was sending Sukuna's residuals, but who's to say it wasn't from Yuji himself. Not only that, but from one of the few times we see Sukuna's true form, he also happens to look like a more demonic Yuji

(Manga spoilers but if you watched the video as an anime-only watcher, then you've already done that to yourself) I've always been suspicious why it wasn't explicitly stated or definitively shown that Nobara is dead. When Mahito kills Nanami, the guy's very clearly dead as he's just legs afterwards. As well as in most instances when a character dies, even if nobody says "x character has been killed" it's always made known. However with Nobara, it always felt a bit up in the air. An interesting point brought up in the video is how Yuji's survival was kept secret from all his friends until he returned in the Tokyo v Kyoto exchange event, so that very much could have been done with Nobara. This video made me want to believe it even more

nobara learned the "dying to win and risking death to win are two entirely different things" lesson all on her own in that fight with yuji

I'm so behind this theory. It actually makes so much sense. And Nobara is straight up just not dead.
