Wow, one of the best videos of Chomsky I have seen, yet has one of the fewest views.

Chomsky is a towering intellectual, in the truest sense of the term, he retains enormous intellectual and moral integrity in all that he says and does. He is immense. What is intellect without virtue?

I mean, if you let what you consider to be "virtuous" influence how you observe the world and it's workings, then you should also acknowledge that you're looking at the world and simultaneously judging it normatively. in other words: Virtue is almost never objective.

A Democrat. Or, in the strictest definition: A Communist Democrat, e.g. The DNC. Of course, now that the evidence is in, and we all see that, mentally ill communists have taken *full control* of the party, the sane people have a new and very perplexing, (but easy to eradicate) problem on our hands? Eradication? Maybe the full control/eradication ideology shouldn't be so strictly discerned. In other words, we can easily re-open the mental institutions from whence they came, and lock them back up again, thus, returning our government into the hands of people with actual, brains, e.g. true intellect. One needn't attend to a course of "communist instruction/brainwashing" to become an intellectual. In fact, that only assures one's mental illness being set free and we start seeing Nancy Pelosi's, McCain's, Maxypad Waters' etc., running our futures into the cesspool of destruction. So, again, simply re-opening the state run asylums that psychology so arrogantly and deceivingly, convinced us, we no longer needed, and, filling them up, for starters, with the entire operation we call, the DNC, would go a long way towards bringing our government back to levels of sanity that the general populous doesn't have to barf at every time they make themselves visible. Noam is one of the original Berkeley provided communist generals who set out to create the system we have today, which, effectually, is nothing more than communism without the badges of red fists on our government operators.

Well, if we re-open those asylums, you might need to be careful.

@@archetempo Well no, he would have the first job of his life, incarcerating completely mentally healthy people who happen to have actual brains, heart, have thus some political insight, and are thus critical of USA foreign policy, or any other. But I agree with you: he sounds like he needs a "diagnostic". Unfortunately, those are the people who persecute the mentally healthy into mental institutions.

1:51 "The general population must be marginalized. Reduce them to apathy and obedience. Allow them to participate in the political system but as *consumers,* not as true participants. Allow them a method to ratify decisions made by others, but *eliminate* the methods by which they might 1.) inform themselves, 2.) organize, and 3.) act in such as way as to control decision making."

It is exactly this what I was doing, dear Noam Chomsky, starting to do - proposed to do. Lots of people were listening, and we certainly were going to gather together and do it - whatever we could. Then I was attacked, persecuted, imprisoned, stopped on all levels, character assassinated, defamed and RAPED !!!!!! Please please take account and knowledge of it, Noam Chomsky. I am a citizen of the UN, whose Human and Civil Rights have been and are being ignored and infringed. I am a victim of a huge amount of injustices, exactly for being and practising what you described, and for being someone who walks the talk. Much love to you.

It's all true. But, caring about others, striving for society's common interests, it spells socialism that Americans strongly resist.

Actually, the support for socialism is fairly high, at least compared with what the media presents. And if you ask people whether they are a fan of the actual ideas, they rarely realize it's technically socialism, and almost categorically agree with the ideas. If you call it libertarian socialism, to distinguish it from systems like the sovjet union, people are very supportive in my experience.

The bigger something gets the more abstract it gets. Therefore values and humanity gets lost, but profits are made.

Simply brilliant analysis. He is the true national treasure. Self-destruction of mankind and the annihilation of our environment are imminent because of the profit motive. The powers that be need to listen to this man, but they are content to punt the tough decisions to the future generations and their combined intellect is minute compared to his.

John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Corporations are not the problem though,it's the mix with government that causes the destruction. It's government that's the problem. Companies without governments are by in large harmless as they can only acquire wealth through the consent of others voluntarily giving their money. Government doesn't have to do this as they simply take it by force and call it taxation
