The UEFA champions league is the toughest league in whole of football and yet winning it only makes the team champions of Europe and not the world. I think there are some egotistical people over there in the U.S.

the nba is composed of the best basketball players on the planet, the league happens to be based out of the US but where it’s based out of is irrelevant because the talent pool is much more elite than any league found anywhere else in the world the nhl has the best hockey players, mlb has the best baseball players, premier league is widely regarded to have the best soccer players and ufc has the best mma fighters, etc. if any of those leagues want to crown their champion as world champ, then they have every right to do so

very wrong they could never be world champions if they don't compete against the worlds best. All NBA Championship games are national games, it's not a world championship competition. Look at international sports like Rugby, Football or Cricket. how they determine which club is the best in the world with competitions like UEFA and/or the epcr challenge cup
