What I've found in searching, is to go back and comb through what I already have. Looking at records and information I may have missed. Maiden names, family listed. L looking at cemetery records turns up other relatives.

Also I was able to find out my herd was found in 1400 during the last Tartar invasion and the coat of as my namesake won. In 1400 the Cavalry Hussars of Poland Lithuania Serbia and the Cossacks were all allied to stop the tartars. While many Slavic refugees were heading west away from the invasion, the Hussar Cavalries were finding the herds, my herd was west of Kiev all herdsmen has to go defend all Slavic lands while the women drove all the herds into Poland. The herdsmen were not trained as Cavalry but we're instead the archers on horses to keep up with Cavalry logistics. My namesake was the actual commander of the herdsmen archers. He won a place amongst the Hussars and a place for his herd in Poland. His coat of arms on a red field there is a silver arrow in the middle pointing up with a silver sword from right to left in across with the arrow to show he became a Christian at the end of the campaign to defend all Slavic lands. All of this I found out because I didn't understand why I had no Viking DNA and found something much greater with the actual Amazons as my grandmother's as well. We didn't have kings we had Queens and our shaman were women as well. The greatest events of Sarmatian history is when our Queens ruled. Queen Tomyris, our Greatest Queen Amage. There was the Queen who not only visited Alexander the Great but threatened him to his face and this is why he never went north. Our last Queen Roxolena who not only took on the Roman's and broke away migrating to her only ally the Slavs. Do you know that Roxolena is still remembered as the Amazon who comes and saves the Slaivic lands. But actually she ruined the Roman economy and took out 3 Roman legions then burn everything 50 miles south of the Danube and 500 miles across. The Roman's finally got the message don't follow us. This is why when hostilities started in Ukraine and you seen the women in the towns leading the men into resistance. You also seen the women of all the Slavic nations to volunteer to stay at their borders if needed. This happen to be the Amazons still in them today. But do you know that they don't know that they are decended from the Sarmatian knights and Amazon warrior women.

I find when I am weeding the garden, I ponder on my research issues, and often times I think of some completely new aspect to check out on an ancestor

I just love how those types of thoughts come up when I'm not looking for them.

I can give the most unbelievable journey to not only find my ancient Ancestors but I am collecting all the sources out there. I took the ancestry dna test looking for viking and found none. It took me 2 weeks to follow this rumor told by my dark age nobles and found these busts that the Roman's have 3000 years ago and my family look like twins of these guys still today and my last name means the eyebrow bridge of the Sarmatians. We were the very first horse people and the only tribe the Roman's feared and forced us to be their cavalry. They took the sons very young for 30 years for centuries. Which forced the daughters to be the warriors and defenders of the tribe. They didn't marry until the men would return, they had arranged marriages. They were not killing the boys but sending them away to hide from the Roman's. They found the tombs of the Amazons 5 yrs ago and the have the dna of the Slavs. All Slavs have Sarmatian DNA while we Poles have the most we are 50/50 Sarmatian/Slavic. Also the reason we don't have viking DNA is because they showed up 4 times and each time we just ran them over with our herds until they stopped coming. Did you know we would put our horses on their ships and go back to Scandinavian and burn everything. The Legend of Steppenwolf is actually the commander of the Slavic forces during everything his title was actually the Wolf from the Steppes where all Sarmatians came from.
