看過數十集鍛刀大賽，再看到這些操作忽然覺得好熟悉XD 鐵罐大馬，塗立可白隔離液，填入材料，封罐鍛燒，脫罐，鍛刀，正火，淬火，研磨以及裝柄材，最後就斷刀....（以上是鍛刀大賽的流程，正常操作不會這麼簡化）

powdered steel and the razor blades are 2 dissimilar metals. that’s canister damascus’ by definition

Obviously a terrific job no doubt, But it is absolutely not, no way Damascus, it's forge welded and the two aren't close to being the same.

Yes, this is not strictly Damascus steel ; it's just commonly referred to as such out of habit.

Rethink what you said bud. Damascus is made by forge welding 2 types of steel together. And in the video it’s called canister Damascus

I mean hey, it isn’t Damascus steel you are correct (unless this guy set up shop in the Syrian capital of Damascus). BUT it is an excellent display of Damascus style steel! Just like about everything else you see online relating to “Damascus steel”!
