I was a skeptic when Craig first stepped into this role.. but his Bond has been the best portrayal of the super spy so far. Ot made him human and a hero in more than one way!

Say what you want about the ending of No Time To Die, but I thought it completed Daniel Craig's Bond in such a beautiful fashion. For me Craig delivered a Bond that actually had a soul, considering how shattered Bond's soul already was. Bond's journey was sad and beautiful at the same time. Whoever takes over after Craig, has got some enormous shoes to fill.

I hope Bond is less beefy whoever takes over, like the older Bond. since i never could buy Bond going from a sophisticated secret Agent to a WWE looking guy. Its why Daniel Craig is my least favorite. I bought Collection of James Bond movies, No Time to Die is only one lacking which i probably wont get. Watched 4 Daniel Craig movies and they arent nearly as good as the other Bond movies in my view of old ones

Daniel was excellent. Sad to say goodbye to his version of Bond. For me personally, he is the best Bond. Skyfall and Casino Royale are my favorite movies.

I imagine for the 60th anniversary they'll release an updated version of that 50th anniversary box set from 2012 with all the films, except now it'll include all 25 movies. I'd be surprised if that doesn't happen.

Nope. All cropped to 2:39:1. All that waste to film on big honken imax cameras for nothing. Makes me so sad, first bond to be filmed on imax, just wasted like this. They'd have saved time and money using smaller arri cameras.

Chris Nolan was using most of the IMAX cameras at the time of filming on Tenet. The Bond production did have a couple of cameras but were limited in what they could film especially as there are issues with noise from IMAX cameras. I think there are only about 5 or 6 imax cameras in the world. They are expensive to make.

@@tatsumaru12345 Damn, that's a great shame. Even on Blu-ray, we wouldn't have got the full IMAX shots going to 1.43:1, but blimey this studio are lazy. Maybe it'll end up in a later release, same as Marvel finally putting their IMAX scenes on Disney+ albeit not on physical media.

THIS!!!! Skyfall was not shot in imax, but it did have taller imax footage in scenes. And the skyfall version exists! Finished! Just they'd rather people watch the cropped versions instead of making money with a rerelease. But no time to die, WAS shot 40 minutes in imax. NO excuse on why they're cropping it, other than lazyness

@@t.l3846 Honestly I like the Skyfall cover where Bond's sliding on the ground but yes the B&W background is lazy and also the reason why I wish they did something else. At best it's design is minimalist, which beats those busy photoshopped covers that other movies do

At least some studios still put effort into physical releases these days. I want this on my shelf next to all the other Bond DVDs/blurays.

In 4K. Amazing. You can smell Craig farts. It add a lot to the bond character.

I think the picture and sound quality along with The Being James Bond doc (on the 4k disc) will be the best thing about this release as the film is really a Jason Bourne film which would be fine if this was Bourne but it’s not. It’s supposed to be a Bond film!

Loved it. Great end to Mr. Craig's run as Bond.

We wanted an alternate ending in that disc! The movie is amazing but many of us who saw the movie more than twice in theaters demanded that we get an alternate ending where Bond kills Safin before Safin can wound and poison him and ends up escaping from the island, reunited with his family and honored by the British Government. Give us that or bring Daniel Craig back for one last movie where he wakes up at "Home" with Madeleine, Mathilde and Dou Dou only to realize the nightmare that's about to happen, and you can take the movie in a different direction from that point forward until he gets rid of Safin, the virus and any other threat to his family, and then Bond (and everyone one of us) gets a happy ending.

@@brucesnow7125 Are *you* high, or do you know how to read? I didn't ask for the movie to be changed. It is what it is. If you've looked at social media a lot of people, including me, have been asking for one of the bonus materials in the home disc release to include an alternate "happy ending" where Bond doesn't die and is never poisoned against Madeleine or Mathilde. It has been hinted such an ending was filmed with most of the production crew thinking Bond survived, and very few people knowing the real ending with Bond's death to try to keep it from being leaked. A similar thing was included in the home release of Rocky Balboa where he ends up winning the exhibition match which was also owned by MGM. Let people be happy and voice their opinion without making insinuations or questioning their comments online. There was no need to have this discussion beginning with "Are you high?"

will there be deleted scenes, like the snyder cut that we havent seen yet? That would be worth buying the directors cut that might make the movie better, or deleted scenes all together, but is most these behind featuretes already shown on youtube.

Casino Royale to No Time to Die had 1 overarching plot which reads well on paper, but it didn't always translate well to the screen. Having taken the time to read the plot as a whole, and then the relationships between the various characters in all the films has given me a new appreciation for the films, which I thought were lacklustre

With 0 imax scenes, 40 minutes being entirely cropped. Hard pass. It'll either be a redbox rental, or wait until it comes to free streaming. Maybe if it hits 5$ in a sale. Disney has their marvel stuff in imax streaming, Christopher nolan never fails imax image, all the recent DC movies have mastered Imax footage well. No excuse, that the 1st bond shot on imax, is going to cropped. Meaning you're losing 30% image, for nothing. Whats the point of filiming in Imax, if you're just going to crop the stuff? You can save so much money and get similar resolution with other cameras.

Craig was a great Bond but his tenure was ruined with NTTD for me. That wasn’t a Bond film and it’s sad that the filmmakers cow-towed to the "modern audience" through fear of upsetting them. It’s obvious to me the filmmakers were more concerned about that type of audience than the ones who made Bond a success in the first place. Nothing like shitting on the real fans,who’ve been there for many years.

I've imagined a couple of scenarios so far to be able to get more movies with Daniel Craig: 1. We go Brosnan or Roger Moore style: At the last second Q disables his vital signs and deploys a protective bubble (like the one he uses in The World is not Enough in the avalanche) equipped within Bond's clothes that ensures he gets thrown far away from the blast and floats for a while in the sea until he is secretly recovered. Bond is sent to recover from his wounds for a long time and he doesn't emerge until a cure is found for the virus. This was done by Q, either against Bond's will or was planned just with Q in case he was poisoned. 2. The Daniel Craig Realistic Bond style: Bond had a nightmare after going to Madeleine's home in Norway and meeting Mathilde. The nightmare was everything we saw after the Norway Chase and his family's kidnapping until he gets wounded and poisoned by Safin and the missiles get to him. The next Bond movie starts with Daniel Craig (one last time) taking down Safin in a different way. This time we get proper villain development but in the end, Bond survives to live the rest of his life with Madeleine and Mathilde and honored by the British Government. 3. Bond wakes up back in Blofeld's lair from Spectre from his torture. The next movie begins right there as he has to escape with Madeleine and destroy the Spectre Organization. The last scenes from Spectre and all of No Time To Die would be in Bond's imagination. 4. Daniel Craig gets digitally deaged to show some of the missions he accomplished in between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall. 5. A Bond "multiverse" is started now that Amazon sort of owns the franchise: -An Amazon Prime series with Pierce Brosnan begins to explore the life of Old Bond and what happened to his 007 and he gets proper closure to his tenure as Bond. -Another Prime series creates an alternate reality where Daniel Craig's Bond is single, Felix Leiter is alive, and Bond gets introduced to Paloma. Then we get to see many missions where they work together since Ana De Arma's and Daniel Craig's chemistry is so great! -At the same time we get a new Bond cast for the films that will get made for theatres, either with an all new cast or keeping some of them like Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris since both of them were so great. Obviously in the new set of movies they will have no connection to Daniel Craig's Bond just like it happened with Judi Dench with Pierce Brosnan and then Daniel Craig.

No thanks, a woke James Bond is too much to stomach. Daniel Craig's brilliant 007 legacy, and perhaps the franchise's, ended with Spectre. There is simply no limit to how much destruction that 'progressivism' can deliver.

No IMAX scenes won't be purchasing it

Ignore the troll. Some of us do have home theaters. And even if you don't, a regular tv will hugely benefit too. Try squinting your eyes, thats what a cropped movie looks like. No imax in this release at all. All 40 minutes of that is going to be cropped to 2:39:1. Such a shame, to waste all that money and effort filming. Might as well have used cheaper arri cameras.

No Time To Die is Bad. James Bad.

Ironically Daniel Craig was one of the best Bonds and one of the worst, on screen he was great off camera he complained about making another Bond he said he rather cuts his writs off he was a whinner go back to theater Daniel, he literally killed Bond so he would never appear not even in a cameo as Bond, what is with the shooting at cars and never hitting the tires? seriously, I am a fan of the franchise but no actor should bite the hands that feeds him, actors forget that are millions in line to take that part humbly, Daniel loves beer so have fun in your retirement in three years time he will be out of shape letting himself go. Pierce Brosnan was the best Bond but was in the worst Bond films go figure bad writing.

You people are never letting that "slash his wrist" part go, are you? This is Spectre we're talking about; the making of that movie was NOT easy. Plus, Craig suffered through a lot of injuries on set during his tenure; he broke his knees so badly that he fucking needed surgery, for God's sake (I've broken my knees before, and let me tell you: it's a terrific pain in the ass, in more ways than one). It's no wonder he was not happy about the press asking him if he's doing more, especially when Spectre was still in fresh memory. If it was me, I probably would have flipped even harder than he did, and I say that as someone who tries his best to be a professional.

I’m still on the fence regarding it. Perhaps I need to see it again but it just didn’t feel like a Bond movie to me.

I saw it a few nights ago, the worst Bond film for a long time. Hopefully the next iteration of the franchise improves on the storyline’s and gets back to the original Bond plot lines.

Such a bad movie..
