Nah they ruined his character in this last movie, made him so emotional and helpless and killed him in the end. Which was unnecessary. The bond which was I knew can live with that poison and find a way of that.

@@sidheart5645he died from the many bullets Safin pumped into him and the missile strike finished him off. Hence why he could barely move after getting the vent doors or whatever back open. And helpless? He took out an entire base full of henchmen. Same in the first. Same in Cuba. Helpless is last thing I'd accuse this Bond of.

Yeah, 33 would be much more role-related. At 23 you merely finish university, yet she was "the money", she was the one and only who decides millions on a poker game to catch a global villain. Girls at 23 just about to start to experience the world and taste life, and not already rule it. Also the meaningful, grownup love relationship in midst of a highlife with Bond is also not matching a 23 year old woman.

The most iconic scene in a Bond film was On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) when Tracy DeCinzo (Diana Rigg) was gunned down by Blofeld (Telle Savales) on their honeymoon. To see James helplessly holding the lifeless body of his wife while uttering the Louis Armstrong theme All The Time In The World was so heart-rending.

I hated this movie and really don’t consider it a Bond movie. All they did was rip out themes from OHMSS and plug it into another storyline about Bond.

Really similar to For Your Eyes Only, and No Time To Die I think is a remake of sorts to On Her Majesty's Secret Service in some regard.

@@carlgreisheimer8701Connery was good, very good. If you’ve ever read the original novels you’d have to agree that Craig captures Bond’s sense of melancholy better than any of the other Bonds with the possible exception of George Lazenby but he didn’t get much of a chance to show us what he could do as Bond.
