My 4-year-old daughter was just diagnosed with something called "just right OCD", and she can't even wear her brand new pair of camper hiking boots, without being completely fixated on the laces, and the way they move when she walks in them!

I only got a Kiwi no tie laces at target not long ago and it feels comfortable without a heel slippage from traditional tying laces.

Bro thanks for the video. im looking at the xpand ones. but how did you hide the rest of the lace? im so particular I can't have any extra lace inside the shoe it will bother im sure of it. but I want a laceless system im so lazy I hate tying shoes lmaooo. also bro the dress shoes looked real nice with the stretch laces, that brown is on point and I like how the toes aren't too pointed, I would say there right in the middle of rounded and pointed 👌. I would buy that exact style and color 🔥 with some grey dress pants and brown belt 🔥navy shirt 🔥 wore that exact combo to my boys wedding this summer hah

Yeah I’m going to do a update on that video… Even though they’re all different I think the ones on the dress shoes are the least detectable on a closer look… but they all have their pros and cons!

I’ve done research and testing on the security of laces and other cords. These items do a job if you are looking to convert a traditional shoelace secured shoe to a slip on type. Aesthetically they look great but not adequate for most sports applications.

I use Ulaces and no matter what shoe I’m putting them on I allways get U lace shorts and it allways keeps me locked in for sprinting hurdling or whatever I need to do they never have failed yet

@@BRANDON_MILLER I think Ulaces work great once they are in the shoe. My research was to increase the gripping ability of conventional laces and thereby reducing the slipping of the knot.

@@richardtruckner2203 yea from my experience at le knots allways have an end and than you have to re tie them agin even double knots, but I can tell you at least from my experience they keep you in and once you put em in once you can deadass forget about them unless you wanna change the color, they do not move or slip at all

You didn’t test any of the laces for security in tightness and ability to hold under stress when running. Since they are all elastics, they essentially act like slip-ons.

The review was purely for the aesthetic of the laces and they have held up to normal wear but yes I do need to test them on running shoes! Thanks for watching !

Skip on the white rubber/silicone ones. After a while they'll yellow, right now mine looks like the color of a coffee drinker's teeth ehkk. Avoid it, get the regular elastic ones, at least those you can just wash with soap and water.

0:15 I know it's not the point of video, but all your regular laces are tied wrong, which makes the bow turn vertical. IDK if that's just for display here or a style preference, but you gotta do left-over-right then right-over-left (or vice versa) to get a proper square knot... more secure knot and it stays horizontal.

  • @style_45

Lol you’re right that isn’t the point of the video but good eye … i’ve tried to tie my shoelaces that way, but when you’ve been tying your shoelaces the “wrong way” your entire life it’s kind of a hassle. 🤷🏽‍♂️ either way, the point of these no tie shoe laces is to not have to tie your shoe laces at all and for me it it’s a cleaner look.
