No sticks input in BetaFlight from Tango 2? Crossfire/Flywoo Nano Baby 20 2S fix

After hours and hours I finally stumbled across a simple reason why I could not see stick movements in the Betaflight receiver tab. With this video there are only two things that could help someone determine this issue.
This video is geared towards crossfire/tango 2, and also the flywooo nano baby 20. I hope at least this beso can help someone out there.
Happy flying.

Sometimes it’s a UART, sometimes just needs to be rebound, Sometimes something is physically disconnected or has “gone bad.” Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your video ! I got the same issue. And I did not see the solution (I did not want to disassemble this little thing to check if the crossfire rx was set on the correct UART). In betaflight it was UART1 that was set as SERIAL RX. But I changed as you advice to UART3 and it works now ! Thanks again !

You’re gonna have to go back to your actual radio and see if the channel mapping is set up on the actual radio. That’s my best guess. I had to go back and make sure that Rutter, aileron, throttle, and all of that stuff were correct as well.

Is it working? I hope I can give some info to help you. Sometimes it’s a simple UART, sometimes you have to rebind, sometimes there is something physically disconnected on the flight controller. It’s just the name of the game sometimes. Let me know if you have any questions. It’s been a while since I’ve made that video and I’ve got “a lot more knowledge” now.

Check to make sure that you have an LED light on the receiver that is green, signifying that you are connected to the quad. Secondly, check your radio to see if you do have telemetry/signal. If you don’t, rebind the Drone. Go to the ports tab.Check also where the white and yellow wires are going from the receiver to the flight controller. You should see R1,T1,R2,T2 something like that… pay attention to what the solder pad labels are and where those wires are Going… and then if you see that the wires are landing on R1….then move to UART1 if R2,R4, Rwhatever… switch over to that UART in betaflight. There’s also a difference between tramp and smart audio. I don’t know if that has anything to do with the current issue, but the order of tramp and smart audio also makes a difference. So you need to find out which one your quad comes with. Just keep playing with the UARTs. Just off of the top of my head. After you get stick input back…. And the quad STILL WONT LIFTOFF. My next steps would be to check the modes tab. And sometimes it COULD BE bi directional the shot that is enabled that causes you to be unable to even get a Quad off the ground. disable bi directional dshot Check the motor tab to also check your motor order if the quad is flailing into the air. I hope at least some of this could get you on the right track. I’m not in front of my computer right now, so I’m just doing this off the top of my head. Let me know where you end up man. Good luck.
