The 4th Generation Echo will lose sound if you have an audio cable plugged in (in line in mode) to the audio jack, and connect and then disconnect a bluetooth speaker. The way to recover the sound on the echo when this happens is to unplug the cable from the audio jack, reconnect the bluetooth speaker, and then disconnect it again, either by saying "Alexa, disconnect speaker" or by physically pressing the on/off button on that bluetooth speaker (ie. JBL Flip). This should return the sound to your Echo.

Can you help via a video ? I am facing problems with alexa 4th gen. No sound at all only lights are on. I did factory reset but it didn’t fixed the problem.

Vuelve a sonar, si funciona, pero la calidad del audio es pésimo. La única solución es reemplazar la bocina. Pero como una solución temporal funciona.
