I live for crazy music and graphics,, as a matter of fact, I wouldn't be able to get out of bed in the morning if a world full of crazy music and graphics suddenly ceased to exist.

I restart my laptop with hdmi cable still connected and it picks up tv speakers.

Fuck i have the same issue !!! After restart still the same !!! Damn it

Didn't work at first, but once in settings I also disabled the laptop speaker, then it worked. Thank you!

Wish I knew beforehand there was a setting for that, otherwise I would have avoided cutting those wires with a pair of scissors.

You're kidding, hope you never accidently set your TV to an unused HDMI port, that blank screen probably have you putting it in the trash.

Thanks for this. It used to be the case that when I removed the HDMI cable from the laptop the sound automatically came back to the laptop but now it doesn't. How do I make it automatically change over depending on whether the HDMI is in or not.

OK, nice, but in my case, once I plug in the USB to HDMI convertor, I totally lose control on the PC, therefore I can't go to the Sound window. I can move the mouse arrow, but is useless, can't do anything with it. The sound driver is updated and the last version. Any suggestion ?

Can you help me? When I went into the audio setting, I didn't see a tv option.

My LG TV is not even listed in the audio devices for me to select, yet the HDMI is plugged in because thats what I use to see and type this, yet the audio does not detect the tv at all, it started doing this out of the blue and does this on other TVs. Any hint?

I have a hdmi cable connected to my TV from my pc it used to used to work but I come home today and it says there is no output options? But when I connect that same cable up to my ps5 it plays sound no problem ? Any ideas what's wrong with my pc ?

What can i do if for example it can play sound from spotify but not from google could you tell me what can i do? I mean if i just click on the soundbar so i can hear where the sound comes from its definietly the tv but when i start to play something from google it just comes from the laptop, i would assume that i have to do something jn the google settings but i didnt really managed to find anything about it
