No he's a tenor who has really good control over his breaks or known as registers in musical terminology. He's not a soprano or alto that's called the falsetto part of the voice which gives you those beautiful floating tones you hear here. Think of singers like Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine Smokey Robinson and much much much more.😊

It used to be everywhere like that as germs could kill you. However, as open sewers, garbage disappeared from streets and they became quite clean, that necessity became less and less important. It's something that fades away in about 2 generations. It'll be a matter of 1 or 2 gens in some cultures for the same to happen (if their societies are clean in and out of the house).
