It's just crazy how he had to clinch then punch then clinch sooo much in order to win. And hold Matias Arms, not really a proud way to win but it's Matias fault for not realizing the clinching strategy. That's a dirty strategy but he got away with it.

@@p4pking. Matias always starts the way he starts, every fight he does that. The difference was the clinching. Paro would stop Matias from fighting by clinching him, then punch, then clinch, then punch, then back of the head, then run, then Clinch. matias just didn't know how to stop those dirty tactics. Paro got desperate and found a way to win, even if it is dirty.

Atmosphere was insane, congrats Paro, helluva performance!

I don’t think people realize how good Paro is, I had this a 50/50 but Paro made this look easy !

The difference is most can only do what paro did for 8 rounds max and then slow down and matias lands, they all looks good for 3 or 4 rounds paro had the engine to do it for 12

What I learned from the fight is that Paro is a C to B level fighter with no pop in his punches and is cannon fodder for the rest of the top ten in the division. As for Matias I don’t know what he was thinking not punching the first 3-4 rounds. Usually out the gate he is a punching machine. Had he started punching from round 1 Paro would have probably quit before the 10th. Weird fight strategy for Matias that I still don’t understand.

People saying this wasn’t a massive upset are kidding themselves. I’m giving full credit to Paro, as he countered Mathias greatest assets. The curse of homecoming fights continues, but I think Mathias can make a very strong comeback by learning from this to not rely just on the fear of his opponents.

I’m just not going to waste my time with Boxing, anymore. It’s clear as day that these types of fights are rigged for future Boxing business. Between Paro and Kambosos, they’re really reaching in trying to sell Boxing to Australia. Moreover, Australian boxing fans could never get as hyped as PRs.

Exactly! The ref had warned against leading with his head because of the chance of head clash, but he hadn’t given any warnings about hitting to the back of the head. Everyone involved knew it was a disgrace except Eddie and the ref. Just listen to the commentators reaction.
