Vidhu Prathap is an Indian playback singer. He has sung many songs in over 600 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. He first sang for a movie called Paadamudra, when he was in class IV. But his real break was in 1999 in a movie Devadasi rendering 'Pon Vasantham', a difficult song with a classical touch. His rendering of the fast number Shukriya Shukriya in Niram (1999) made him popular. Besides, with a generation shift in Malayalam cinema, younger actors like Dileep, Kunchacko Boban and Prithviraj Sukumaran needed a young voice to suit their style, where Vidhu was fitted in. His depth and range were once again evident in the movie Sayahnam, directed by R. Sarath, which won Vidhu the Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer in 2000 for the song Kaalame Kaikolluka Nee. His rendition of Mohan Sithara's Sukhamani Nilaavu from the movie Nammal won him the Asianet Best Male playback singer award in 2002. The credit for his 'mood rendition' should go to music director G. Devarajan, with whom he trained for four years. He has also trained under composer Perumbavoor G. Raveendranath.He is one of the judges in the reality show Super Four and is loved for his witty comments
Deepthi Vidhu Prathap former known as Deepthi Prasad is an Indian Dancer, Television Presenter and Actor. She has performed in films like Nagaravadhu (2001) and Chirikkudukka (2002). She is a Bharatnatyam dancer. She has also been prominently featured in several music albums of singers like Jyotsna Radhakrishnan and Vidhu Prathap. Deepthi married Vidhu Prathap in 2008. They have a KZread channel Vidhu Prathap Official on KZread. The couple started their sketch comedy series during lockdown, and it has gathered millions of views. They are one of the most popular celebrity couples and are loved by many.
In this three-part series, Deepthi and Vidhu talk about their life and work. How they create the funny sketch videos that they do and how they have nourished each other to be the artists they are today. In the second and the third part they talk about the personal side of their lives as a couple and how they have evolved and grown to be the partners they are today.
