At the time, I thought it would make people stay longer, and truth is, it probably did. With the current landscape of KZread, you need the most engaging intro you can get. However, no matter how engaging an intro is, its main purpose is always to show what the vid is about, and in that case it failed. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk and thanks for the advice, I'll do my best to implement it!

First off: You sound like a pretty good speaker/moderator, you've got nice fluent accentuation, not to much to get annoying nor to less to get boring. (If I heard right, check your mouth the next time you record a voicover, there are exercises to help with the salivation.) Had a look into your cataloque of videos myself. The things seen in the first part of your video, reminded me of the ""good" ol' times of KZread". Even more so for the stop motion stuff. And you seem to have some experience with self reflection, never stop using that! BUT: Please be less whiny, warranted criticism is good, as long as it's REALY warranted. And some whining may be normal, even can be entertaining, but as I've learned over the years: You're only allowed to whine if you're going to do something about the reason you're whining, asap! Which neatly brings me to my second point: Know your stuff! NEVER assume, ALWAYS verify. Because a loooot of your takes are contradictory or blatantely false. And in the case of your darkweb stuff: An information hazard! Or to quote Nietzsche: "When you stare into the abyss long enough, the abyss stares back at you." And don't forget: "What has been seen cannot be unseen". Also: It used to be, that consistency is king and a not anticipatable upload cycle only hurts your views. With all that said, I wish you the best of luck, and hope you'll go on and do great. Have a nice day. Greetings from the other side of the pond. Honestly, I had no idea you weren't a native English speaker, I'm not the best English speaker myself, but other than a couple confusing parts, the bulk of the paragraph made sense! I like how you started off by complimenting my voice and video slightly, saying I have "some experience with self-reflection", before going into the criticism, I heard that it helps people handle the criticism a lot better, at least from my limited knowledge of phycology. However, I didn't really understand what you meant by me being "whiny", can you point out some specific examples of me being whiny? Since I didn't notice any apparent examples, maybe other than the intro. Also, I understand what you mean about me not knowing my stuff, which I do sometime forget to do, however specifically for the dark web, I don't understand what you meant by my content being an "information hazard", in my tutorial, I showed the SAFEST way to access the dark web, so it would be great if you could specify what you mean by that, as well as maybe give some examples of my takes being "blatantly false", so I can remove them. As for my upload schedule, I'm just out of content at the moment, I don't really know what to talk about. Finally, I don't know much about speaking exercises, so I would like to know what you meant by "exercises to help with the salivation". I hope you understood all that, you have a good foundation and good ideas for the paragraph, the main and only problem I see has to do with you not going in depth for many ideas, leaving them a bit confusing as to what you're trying to say. Also, adding some examples (even vague ones, like the dark web one) would greatly help peoples understanding of the text. I appreciate any and all comments, especially ones of criticism. I tried many different mics, none really worked, the one im using currently is the only one that sounds kinda correct. I have a speech impediment, so that's probably why it sounds bad. However, if you know anything about mics, just link one in the comments and I'll probably try it out.
