You’re named after one of the archangels. According to Catholic answers when a parent names a child After a saint, they choose that saint to be the child’s patron. Saint Raphael is the patron saint of travelers and the sick. So maybe if you need direction in life and healing, he’d be an amazing saint for you. I would call on him. That being said, I will also pray for you.

I love your wilderness videos but this one scared and confused me. This small town city girl would be scared out there. I don't understand how going deep into a thicket with all that water could be preferable to the solitude in your camp.

... The next morning ....somewhere not on the map in Canada , Fr. Mark reports he thinks he has his bearings now ... Phone battery almost gone so he needs to slow down because he is getting too excited .... He is a little concerned because he can't hear his car honk any more... hopes there are no bears... St. Michael, the Archangel and guardian angel, thank you for keeping Fr. Mark safe on his deep woods adventures. Amen.

❤ You need a second channel Father. You could showcase all your adventures. There looks like there is so much to explore up there. I would love to see where that piece of quartz stringer originated at. You might find gold at the contact zone. And you really need a GPS or a compass. If your going to venture out alone all the time then get a Garmin InReach. It's worth every dime, and might save your life or someone else's. I live by mine when I'm prospecting or detecting. When I was a little girl, we had some dunes in our area where people dumped things, bus it was a BIT of an adventure (my parents wouldn't have wanted us in there!)

I was fortunate enough to meet Fr. Mark in Houston. Believe it or not, he’s kind of shy.

Father- all these people so worried about you - do they not believe in your two Guardian angels? And how you travel with Jesus and your Heavenly Mother ? Im loving this adventure! Reminds me of my brither ‘Murph’ and I - we’d go out in the woods and ‘up the creek’ in NJ. We lived in a rural area. Murph taught me to love and appreciate nature . He came home safely from Viet Nam and died 17 months later - he was 26 and skiing accident left him quadriplegic he left a wife and 16 month old son. I still miss him. I loved him as my brother and teacher.

You're truly the kind of priest God has prepared for the times ahead... As such an outdoorsy person who needs to survive such adventures, perhaps you should plan on coming to the annual preppers meet taking place in July just about an hour outside of Toronto... It's a great place to learn things, and being who you are perhaps some of the attendees would benefit from learning from you!?

Australia is one of those countries with the most beautiful rainforests in the world, with the most breathtaking scenery, esp at sunrise or sunset scenes...... just absolutely beautiful - and peaceful - to sit back with a hot cuppa, and marvel at God's creations of the vast scenery, esp the beauty and sounds of a waterfall in the middle of a rainforest!!! Sets our hearts soaring with excitement when we hear the sound of a waterfall from a distance!

I am always amazed at the colors when I hike in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. So many different hues of yellow greens where younare now. I get lost when I am looking at the colors.

Awesome as usual. I have 90 acres of land in northern Maine I bought really cheap because much of it is swampy. People thought it was a bad idea but 4 years later I’m still very happy with it doing pretty much what you’re doing in this video. It’s a state of mind isn’t it.

I love venturing deep into the woods, but ticks are the one thing I can't stand.

Father Mark, you are so fortunate in so many ways and I'm sure you know that. I would give anything to have a place to go where nobody knew where I was except God. All I see in every direction is cement. When I was young I used to love to go out into the woods myself and just think. I always felt so renewed in every way. Bless your father.

In the infantry we were taught that the most impenetrable terrain was the best place to set up a patrol base. Of course you need some dry ground (a relative term) and more than one way in and out. I admire your more peaceful pursuits in the wilderness.

Awesome place. Lovely and peaceful. At least one Native American Indian tribe hid out in the us Everglades area for years without being discovered. I guess some people can live in swamps like you found. No alligators in Canada so how bad could a dip in that swamp be. I’d be concerned I’d get stuck in the mud. I love your nature walks and explorations.
