1) You are correct, the relic can be reused, there are references where a snakeskin was found at the Tohsaka's mansion and it was still in decent shape. 2) The story is a prequel but some fans may disagree if its canon or not. The other reason is because chronologically, fate/zero came out much later after the main fate/stay night anime series (TV and movie) 3) You are correct, relics related to a particular famous person/hero has a higher chance of summoning that person, but it can also be someone else close to their person. If you were to use something related to Sherlock Holmes, depending on the item, you can arguably summon Dr. Watson instead.

Hassan I Sabbah Class: Assassin Hassan I Sabbah is not a name but a title there are multiple Hassan’s in history they lead a cult of Assassin’s called the Hashashin and this groups name became the etymological route for the term assassin the founder of this group was a man named Hassan I sabbah who’s name would later became the title of the group’s leaders they were wiped out by the Mongols during the siege of Alamut

Keep in mind you should aleeady know the major plot points as this is a prequel and not meant to be watched first. Also yes Shakespeare is a servant

@@mless yh the fate zero novel was released a couple of years after the fate stay night visual novel as a prequel to it. Although confusingly studio deen animated the first route of the vn then ufotable animated zero then ubw then heavens feel so the anime/movie release order is different to what the VN and novel order was. Also yh pretty much anyone as famous as Shakespeare is gonna be a servant in fate and alot of lesser known people as well.

@@mlessThe original Fate/Zero novel was a prequel to the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. Since UFOtable animated Fate/Zero first, their adaption of Unlimited Blade Works was clearly written assuming anyone watching had already seen Zero. (there's one VERY good example of it in the first episode of UBW where the anime had to re-write a scene because the extra context from Zero would have made it confusing for first-time viewers who came in from Zero. If you ever get that far into the franchise, I'll point it out)

Yeah Zero straight up starts with all the dark shit. You dive straight into how fucked up mages are unlike in Stay night where it starts from perspective of someone very ignorant of the world. Tokiomi literally thought giving up Sakura to Zouken was 100% for her own good.

I mean it's marginally better than Sakura getting kidnapped and dissected alive by the mages association. The novel makes Tokiomi's reasoning more clear.

Tokiomi didn't know that Sakura would've suffer after he give him to the Makiri family, he does not know about the details of their magecraft (as trying to do so is regarded as an attempt of starting a war in the world of mages) and only assumed that Sakura would be well as the successor of the Makiri family based off common sense@@JohnShepherd117

well when you have two daughters and can only afford to keep one, and your old neighbour offers to adopt one of them since he can give shelter to the one of sisters you can't protect and his legacy gets a successor, normally people don't just assume him to be a pervert who offers that only to get a kid he can torture@@lop90ful1

Zero isnt the best place to start fate but it's certainly entertaining on its own. I think you going through the trailers and such helped a bit. Usually people are a lot more lost at the end of the first episode with the info dumps they put on you 😅

Rip heavens feel reaveal. Why are you peopel keep recommending to start with zero ? you do realize back in a day it was only recommende because we didnt have heavens feel? now that we have it there is no reason to star twith it

@@mlessDont worry about it. This really is the biggest debate in the fandom. Gigguk makes fun of the fact that the fandom cant agree in his video about Fate. In the end I believe you made the right choice. You most definitely cant start with Heavens Feel. You wont understand anything. You cant start with UBW because I know too many people who fail to understand character motivations when they start there. Zero is the best place to start if you dont want to start with Fate route (original Fate Stay Night).
