I’m glad that you discovered a Bidet. I bought one just like that from Costco in Laurel, Md back in 2015. Not a new thing. In Southeast Asia, I discovered the Bum gun in Cambodia. Now living in Mexico. I installed a Bidet in all 3 of my bathrooms. I’m never going back.

Excellent! In Brazil there were bidets in almost every apartment! I never understood how people could justify using paper only to clean there bom. You use soap and water to clean your hands, mop disinfectant and water to clean your floors but paper only to clean your backside, so uncivilized.

One more thing. The reason why the voice activated restroom wasn't working for you is you have to use the Wake word and then follow it with the command. So "hi toilet" followed by "flush the toilet" or whatever it is you want it to do. So wake word first then the command second

You had me cracking up, Sly! But I totally agree with you about the bidet. I started using the handheld ones when I was traveling around Southeast Asia and it is life changing! It makes you feel so much cleaner. I'm hooked on them now.

I don't want to get too personal but let's just say I used a Japanese toilet on a recent flight to Tokyo. So keep that in mind, this is just an airplane lavatory. It changed my life. Actually I had a kind of existential moment and questioned reality and then decided I will always love Japan and it's people. I can *apprehend* the Japanese toilet but i may never *comprehend* it.

Modern, yes. But the traditional squat toilet is the best. If you use the squat toilet, your chance of getting hemorrhoid will be much lower because 1) squatting is the correct position. 2) Squatting is tough, so you will be in and out in couple minutes.

  • @youme1414

I read that it is scientifically the best way to really use the restroom and the WC is actually not. But, the squatting is too primitive for my taste though.

after living in asia and experiencing the bidets and bum guns, i can never go back to wiping. esp with dry paper. you feel the difference. dry wiping only gets like 90%, you still got residue which you def feel after you get use to bidets/bum guns. i feel filthy when back in the states. gotta have wet wipes on hand back home.

Cool public toilet tour. Heated seats is my favourite feature. Don't be shocked when a lady enters a male restroom. She is there cleaning an already very clean restroom.

LMAO. The bidet is not new. Several countries have them. And many Americans have them in their homes. Japan has next level bidets because you can find them in public restrooms. Now, their public restrooms are way ahead of others. Japan treat this as a sacred act 🙂❤.

There is absolutely nothing like a having a toilet bidet. I became a Believer after going to an older upscale hotel back east. After I had the experience I realized I wanted one for my home which I eventually got. Using nothing but toilet paper seemed absurd to me after the experience. Let me put it to you this way; so you're doing some Garden work out back with your bare hands and you come back in and tell me you want to clean your hands. So I hand you a paper towel to wipe off your hands. Now honestly do you really think your hands are very clean right now? Don't you want to wash them? Same thing with a bidet toilet paper is not really cleaning you.
