My best advice, so you don't go into instant overload... How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I bought 20 acres, almost 4 years ago. I'm single, mid 40's, and run my own small business. I got myself into trouble quickly by trying to do way too much at once. 1 project at a time. Save in envelopes. Pay into your projects equally and weekly. To save up for equipment and materials. You are investing in you. Screw everything else. Best of luck!

I had a conversation with God yesterday when i was in the shower it was the first time in a while i truly prayed. I didnt ask for anything accept guidance. And forgiveness. I humbled myself completely before the creator. It felt cathardic to do it.

best bet is to get off any gov't system you can.. I work for myself (musician), wife homeschools our kids, we raise meat and grow a big garden, this way we have no need for the system. We've surrounded ourselves with other families who have similar mindset to us. We work together, teach together, barter our wares with each other... its great. for as shitty as everything is (and I'm in Canada, its 1000x worse here) my family are living our best lives ever right now.

You're correct, were you are now is where you'll end up. But a vast majority of us (the middle class) will be lower, year by year. Just look at grocery prices and vehicle prices.

Which always makes me take a breath and relax, because she is right. As long as you have youre health, youre one of the richest people in the world. If youre in a car accident, you can replace the car, but not your life. Even if you make a mistake and become discouraged, you still have your health to pursue other endeavors or the same endeavor. Unhealthy people cant. Youth plays a big part in that, however even older healthy people can make things happen in their life. Once you get sick, covid, cancer, etc, your life changes for good, even if you beat it. Value your health

I'm a bondsman we have a family owned and operated for 30 years. Both me and my nephew got our CDL license for extra work. Between pre trial release, no bail thru the judicial system. It's wrecking havoc both the industry and the communities. Crime is sky rocketing and once nice areas are now seeing unbelievable crime. Regardless of your opinions on no bail. 20 years ago, my wife and I saw this coming, so we left the big city of our state and moved to a rural area of a small town with enough space to add on for our kids and parents to live in when this all arrived. We are in the process right now of adding on as it appears its time my brothers.

This video is so similar to the type of guidance my late Father In Law used to give me. I had the pleasure of being his friend and granting him a grandson for 10 years before he died the day after my anniversary. Miss you, pops.

Grew up in rural community. Lived in rural communities most of my life aside from a 2 year stint in Seattle. Am so thankful to have skills / experience/ knowledge I had mostly taken for granted. Now seems many of those skills will be very valuable I miss the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. By no means perfect times but definitely less complicated times.

It's the rise of hyper greed, unlike anything that our species has ever witnessed. The transfer of assets from the bottom to the top was stepped up during the pandemic and is cranking up every single day. We're told the 'other' is our enemy, the migrant, the person of another race, the poor person, the trans person etc etc. It's all nonsense, we're all in the same boat, a boat that's holed below the water line. So circle your wagons, go under the radar, keep those who matter close. I genuinely worry for my children.

I believe this is one of the best video's you've made............very insightful. I think I needed to hear this, as I've been in that same stages of grief. All of the writing is on the wall, I've seen these writings when covid started a few years ago, that we as a nation have been going down the road to ruin.

I remember a preacher once saying the problem lay with all of the Christian preachers who played footsies with the culture instead of preaching the gospel.....

Why do you think false prophets were going to be some one the ones considered most irredeemable?

I was looking down the proverbial "rabbit hole" probably close to 30 years ago. There were far fewer "conspiracy theorists" back then. We couldn't talk to most people about this, so perhaps I passed through all these stages of grieving years ago, I honestly don't recall.

This wisdom goes by many names. In prison we simply said, "It is what it is." In a more eloquent age this "Serenity Prayer" was written: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

There’s another stage after the “ accept it “ stage, that is the one that that you look back and you realize you have lived multiple lives and that everything happens for a reason. Your childhood when everything was simple, young adulthood with marriage and raising children, the next when for no fault of your own, you’re still raising your children on your own. And the last when you realize it all happened for a reason because your boy, who is how a young man, comes home after He’s worked an honest day and says “ Hey Dad.” That is the “ stage” of contentment.

The 5 stages of accepting a toupee: 1. notice hair loss 2. Get angry and lose more hair 3. Take supplements and use Rogaine. 4. Get depressed over the bald spot on your head. 5. Accept the toupee and very few people can even tell.

I’ve been popping red pills for years myself, going deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. I’ve learned much. I’ve recently come to a pentacle of sorts, or a clearing. One in which I saw something that’s been evading me all these years: we need to see our “opposition” (left v/s right, atheist v/s Christian, heteronormative cis v/s gender fluid…. whatever…. We need to see, as do they, that WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. They need to see that the only good guys here are US-ALL OF US. “We” must make “them” our allies. They are as much victims as we are in all this. Big Daddy/Brother has been an abusive authority figure for all of us. We are the abused siblings. Do you think these mentally tormented, crazed and confused people (eg: the streets of San Francisco or Portland) CHOOSE to be where/who they are? No. They were created. Manipulated and used. As has been the case with you and I and the rest of us patriots hanging on by a thread to the last vestiges of what was a once great nation seemingly doomed to the fate of Babylon or Rome. Your thoughts are good it’s a start our real problem is government is to big and to many people becoming rich while working for the people. Not enough people actually contributing while to many are taking the over generous government for whatever they can get. The system is on the verge of collapse

Its unfortunate my generation is so different. I was raised on old views and live by those. Unfortunately those views are not really accepted, i have a large family, heat my house with wood, have a hand pump well just in case, grow food and raise animals for meat and eggs. Im make in the 3% of the populous and I am still broke as hell. I cant understand how people are buying houses and driving new cars. The more self sufficient you are the harder the government sticks it to you. That want you to depend on them.

I disagree with some of your view points, but i truly agree everything you’re saying here. Very rationale and reasonable description of our current state.

And we miss your sister and her videos. How is she doing.

Gen X-er and former East-Coaster here. This was a phenomenal summation of where we find ourselves today. Though not sure where I would land on the scale.

Good advice.

Left the city about a year ago build our forever home. A home in a small town. I agree wholeheartedly with you on this. Build up food stores and water. Looking forward to being able to sustain my family off grid if need be And I sense need will be 💯🇺🇸

I'd argue that rural rural isn't the solution for most. Lots of small towns, and medium cities that provide most of the benefits of rural without being 30 minutes from the nearest help. Get to know some of your neighbors though.

Only one way to stop it...and I don't believe people will ever come together to do it.
