Having witnessed this match as a Phat fan was... devastating to say the least. Lando was steady as he always has been, Luke Stones was fast as lightning but he sometimes do tend to rely too much on his superhuman speed when evading, Luke Horner was sooooo close from earning us a point, and Parkour 59 earned those 2 hard-fought points from my man Abdullah. 59 came in the tournament as underdogs, but really impressed me with their strategic approach, making smart moves and definitely deserve the win. That being said, I believe my boys will come back faster and stronger next year to win the world championship! SPB atw!!!

Yea Ik. It was really hard to watch Phat not even get a point. And you’re right. I feel like Luke does rely on his speed a little too much sometimes. It’s cool to watch, but it should be complemented more with some juking or agility to add to his ability to evade. One of my favorite players to watch but it was heartbreaking to watch this turn out how it did. Nonetheless, Parkour 59 killed it. And it was great to see an underdog develop in this championship.

Once Phat had seen off Blacklist, I was sure they could take Parkour 59, but it was not to be. You could hear the home crowd cheering for Phat, and the cry of SPB echoed around the room, but the corner I was in was where a lot of the French athletes were, and United, Kimeo, and Blacklist cheered on their countrymen: "Allez! Allez! Allez!"

@@jjprempeh2508 I must admit that, as someone who's definitely a fan of the sport, but whose team allegiance has shifted like the sands, I was surprised at the strength of Phat's fan base. They're a strong team and move well. Not many weaknesses to work on, though as someone else here pointed out, they tend not to tag through obstacles, which could strengthen their game.

Had actually called P59 as the potential upset after their string of victories as an underdog team, but still wild to see it unfold that way! Interesting to note both teams here relying on their starting 3 for the majority of the chases, but with the same pairings consistently, which may have helped give P59 an edge. Still some great work from PHAT (especially Luke Horner, heartbreakingly close to an evasion there, and think he can make a big impact to their depth with more competition quad experience). Assuming P59's run ends with Apex, but to knock out the defending world champs, the defending runner-ups, and the defending UK champs consecutively is an astounding run they should be extremely proud of, regardless of the outcome of the finals!

Phat is actually not more experienced than PK59 in this competition... There have been a few competitions in France since WCT4, and PK59 did well in all of them. In fact, they have played far more match than Phat! You really should watch WCT EMEA (competitions running in France, where you will see more of the Teams qualified for wct, but also some other amazing ones, like broco). If I'm not mistaken, PK59 even has there own quad... France really has a lot of good players, it's a shame that wct does not promote them more!

I really wanted to see apex Vs team phat 2 but parkour 59 were simply the better team with alot better technical skill. Abdullah looked lost chasing naim and lacked the explosiveness Luke stones and Orlando had to get tags. Orlando is best when he doesn't try to outwit his opponents but uses his explosiveness to Evade like he did in the UK championship's. Luke stones awareness skills needs improving as he has all the speed and power to be a dominant evader except that.

There's no rule on how many times some can be used. You want a strong team though as if you rely on a single athlete too much they will get tired at some point and in a tournament setting, have fresh athletes is very important! Some times teams don't play athletes because they're tired, injured or just not a good pick against the team they are playing.
