I was married to an agnosstic. I played J. Swaggarts music in the car while driving him to doctors as he was terminally ill and I watched him wipe the tears from his eyes. He became a christian before his death. Swaggart has a ministery of music and he reached my husband thru his music.

Never hold any mortal man to high on a pedestal, you will be sorely disapointed! Jimmy Swaggart is just a sinner saved by Grace, he too makes mistakes, like you and me, ....only Jesus is perfect, know one cares for me like ...Jesus, no one else could take my sin and darkness from me...He really cares for me...and YOU !!

We are all sinners ....but thank God for sending His Son and forgiving us through His loving grace.

I discovered Jimmy Swaggart ministries in 1982 when I was 25 years old and I'm now 62 years old. My spiritual life have been transformed from the secular world, renewed by the Holy Spirit because of the anointed songs he sings and the sermons he preaches. Ever since, I reside in the shadow of the cross where I try to please God. Brother Swaggart reminds me of the psalmist David who is filled with the anointing, poured out directly from the throne of our lord and savior Jesus Christ, God the father, son and Holy Spirit. Whenever I need to walk closer with our Lord God, evangelist Jimmy Swaggart always lead me there. Long live this anointed servant of God. We need more like him. I love this humble holy and righteous man.

Right now, my heart is heavy. But, I have listened to this song already, several times, this morning. Well, Praise God! "Oh how much He really cares for me." He died for me and others alike who would accept and serve Him. So, I am refreshed in knowing He has the current situation with my loved ones under control.

This song can lift me up on the worst days of my Life. What a God I serve. He keeps us alive when others don't see how I am living right now and up and going about some day to day activities. He IS the Great Physician of the Heart, Soul, Mind, AND Body. Amen! Praise God!! ❤

OH MY DEAR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH for never giving up on me. You are so gentle in calling us to you with so much patience and love. He tells us we must totally surrender to him then we will receive and experience a life of peace, comfort and rest. Like his promise, I give him my all and he really does take care of ALL my needs. When I surrendered to him I remembered saying "WELL LORD WHAT DO I HAVE TO LOSE, THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN IS IT DOES NOT WORK. THAT WAS MY SURRENDERING TO THIS JESUS WHO CHANGED MY LIFE OVERNIGHT (literally) I woke up the next morning a new person. He knows us and how we lived in sin. He is so gentle he did not take everything that was part of my life and had to be removed to live for him. So piece by piece he removed them where I had no desire for any of that old life instead I have disdain for it. It's been about 12 years now and I am still wanting more and more closer to him. He tells us each one of us either serves his SPIRIT (HOLY SPIRIT OR THE EVIL SPIRIT) there is no in between. To receive his spirit we must give it all to him...our life, our will which is the beginning of him coming into your life and heart. The peace you will have is beyond understanding. The bible tells us that. Try it and see for yourself.

No one is perfect. But thank God for a chance to repent/ to turn away from sin and forsake those sins. Yes God will forgive only if we keep it real. Why bring up what he did years ago knowing theres 3 fingers pointing back? God forgave jimmy swaggart and God doesnt look at that sin anymore. Neither should we.

Who's still listening to these uplifting classic gospel in 2018 by none other than Jimmy. It touches my soul.

I just found this. What a wonderful rendition. My father had the privilege of playing violin on the very first recording of this song back in the early 1950s. The writer of the song was Dr. Charles Weigel, whom my father knew personally. Dr. Weigel sang the song on the first recording. Thank you for a great recording of it.

I was baptized in the name of Jesus at 17 (now 62) remember it like it was yesterday, I saw him as a cloven tongue of fire, It sat on me and I heard the rushing mighty wind. loved him every since. But I want to see him face to face. I should be dead. I ran a 72 Oldsmobile cutlass into the back of a big truck that was not moving at 70 miles an hour, and did not get a scratch no seatbelt. just the hand of the Lord.

Jesus really does care for you Jimmy! and I know you mean it as I sing along with you I can smell the rags of human flesh as Jesus holds my hand and I have been with Him for several hours now and there is no other experience like Jesus. God bless you all and all my best in the Lord of Hosts.
