Most relevant comment in this entire video. Any top player going to United is only gonna do a Sanchez or a Pogba and put their feet up whilst earning the big bucks. That's why when you fall down it's so difficult to get back to the top. Only way you can do it is being doing what Liverpool did and finding decent players like Mane, Robertson, Salah, Firmino, Fabinho and turning them into world class players.

I think his point was to highlight Bayern's role in helping dortmund survive liquidation and becoming what they are now. For a club like bayern to be gifting another club 2 million euros (money that could be spent on transfers, youth development, scouting etc) shows what a club bayern is. Bayern's relationship with the Bundesliga is very complex. However I do agree that Klopp's success with Dortmund was still something special.

A life long LFC fan, but i absolutely loved Roy Keane!!! That was a Man of Steel whenever we stepped on the pitch.

As a united fan, I feel ashamed having Roy Keane talk about the club. Fair play he is a legend, but some of the bullcrap coming out of his mouth is just plain incoherent and bias. Jamie Carragher asked a very good question to Keane about why Ole deserves more time, and he didnt even give not one good reason. It's funny how Carragher points out the problem at united is the glazers and Ole, but the united pundits will always point the fingers to Pogba, Martial, and Fred

Ole needs more time. Ps more time means if ed woodward gets sacked first coz clearly the transfers last 7 years have been shambles. Overpaid for average players and hassled over good players and let them go or made transfers a window too late(defender was asked for by jose but bought a year later when he was sacked)

Fred is still awful offensively. No one on the attacking front is improving, maybe Rashford. James, Martial, Andreas, Lingard have gone backwards instead of improving. Which is why we’re still relying on 31 years old Mata for inspiration in attack.

Spot on. Can't see why other fans can't see it. Martial has improved, rashford has improved, mctominay, fred, lindelof, all better since ole and phelan took over. Needs at least another year and several good transfers but think it can turn around.

Ole knew that he had already been carrying an injury, but still persisted. Damn near slaving the boy, and it's his and the boards fault for lack of depth for not replacing lukaku! Our club captain just forced his way out during the middle of the season and even refused to join the team on the bench!!...that should tell you everything you need to know, the club is extremely poorly ran, all the way from the top to management. He maybe a scapegoat in a lot of ways but they paid an absolutely fortune for him and he didn't deliver and is a massive wage burden while not playing. Also he did hint leaving on Instagram a while back, to which he received a lot of backlash. I'm not a United fan but I can see why he annoys people, he's to busy with his hair and his cars on social media and dancing at weddings while supposedly have a badly fractured leg.

But mc was improved under mou. also martial he started upfront the same way mou just got distracted when u have Ibrahimovic for one season martial had to slip wide or sit on bench and that's what haunted him as rash was still not exact ready. Hard luck but if u had Ibrahimovic and matial who would play 9 for you and if Ibrahimovic had matial chance today??? But mou buys 2 3 big ones and keeps the other parts developing but peeps say he buys his cups but pep is really who does that mou has an old timish system where he likes physical teams with height in key areas but then quickskillful players around them and mentally tuff. Dm, cb's and main striker must have height. But he still develops players if they agree with his coaching. You obviously don't read some of the more erudite football columnists (who does?) but just look at statistics. If you think winning 9 matches out of 23 and losing almost as many (7....and counting), then maybe you just cannot be convinced. His win ratio is THE worst since any Man U manager since the early 20th Century. In a way, that what the problem is, fans see a couple of results and get fooled in to thinking, that's it...we have turned a corner...

Håland and Icardi have recently moved. Martinez and Werner are top of their leagues and probably wouldn't want to downgrade. Gnabry isn't really an out and out striker and also wouldn't really want to downgrade. Immobile is having the season of his life and is playing for title challengers. I don't see any of them moving to United, for me the only realistic option is Cavani.

Completely agree, there wasting his best years. He is one of my favorite players and he deserves to play with players at his level that are capable of wining titles consistently. Glazers out.

Keano forgot Evra was there when he called Pogba a nuisance.

The difference between Ole starting at United and Klopp at Liverpool is that Klopp immediately made clear to anyone what the playing style would be. From there on you can recruit players fitting the team and style of play. Utd looks for good players that want to come and then look how to fit them in. Klopp also immediately brought believe. Ole did nothing like that. He just brings hope. It’s better to believe than to hope. Giving Ole time would only be smart if you see he brings improvement, but He doesn’t

To improve players you also have to get your recruitment right. Most man utd signings last few years have come for the money because man utd can't attract big names anymore apart from giving them ridiculous wages.

"Why does he (OGS) deserve it?" Exactly the question everyone who isn't a former team-mate of his is asking. He's done nothing in his managerial to career that shows he's capable of building a side to compete against the best in one of the top leagues. Pochettino is United's man, they need to offer him whatever he wants.

The reason why Ole deserves time is because he is taking the club back to its basics which have been lost over the years. The work ethic and aggression is improving and the players bought in summer have improved the team. Also youngsters are coming through who show eagerness to play for the club. Players that didn't want to be there have been shipped out or haven't played

I think the right 2 signings for Man United will make a massive difference in quality and results. A playmaker and top striker. Would love to see Maddison brought in. And for a striker either Harry Kane or Aubameyang... Danny Ings should be considered too.
