My husband of 16 years was killed 168 days ago. He had just turned 38. He was literally my hero, my best friend, the best father our babies could ever ask for, my twin flame, an incredible son to his Momma, just all around amazing, I could go on and on.... we are sooo lost and hollow without his light. This world is such a colder and darker place now without him here... and whoever said Time heals all wounds I believe was mistaken... maybe there were other intentions behind the saying that we've all missed out on... but there are just some deaths that rearrange your whole world, and you're never the same again, nor do you want to be, especially without your loved one here.... I absolutely despise this "new normal" and I swear I always will. Music has a way of helping me get through each day though, and this song is going directly on my playlist... thank you for sharing this song with the world, so many people grieving can find comfort in it....

This song has left me thinking about the possibility of someone who's extremely close to me that i haven't seen in quite a while, father might have died. When i had met him, his Dad told me to TRUST his son. That he has it all planned out and under control. I looked up and into that mans eyes and said smiling that i would do the best I CAN. If my possiblity be correct that son of his is very smart big-time. Through out the crap i personally gone through, with the type of good man he is would have gotten himself himmed up with the spilt milk. No sweat off my back. Though this tough cookie really would love to be next to him. I hope he still feels the same.

thank you so much for this it came at a prefect moment. I know this song is about a human person but i lost my best friend shade in September and today i have to put down her sister Gracey because shes been suffering with seizures since 2021 and no medication works and theres nothing we can do anymore and its killing me because i really really do not want to do this. My childhood friend died to cystic fibrosis. She was so sick. . Though was happy, lived her life for how she might when not in the hospital. She died at 22 in 2019. Taken way too soon.
