@@1917MSC the US, at the peak of it's post war unchallenged unrivaled might, with complete ground and air domination, after decimating ALL structures over 2 stories in the DPRK, 80% of total structures, to the point that bombers by 1951 complained only about having nothing left to bomb, after killing 20% of the population through a genocidal campaign including thousands of civilian massacres like the No Gun Ri massacre, that US could not outright win an asymptomatical occupational war against poor workers farmers and peasants and mere volunteers from a China who had JUST stood up from a century of humiliation. The fact that they could not win with all those advantages in their corner, then, people think NATO could realistically win now? When the US empire is entering a stage of decline?

Syngman rhee was a traitor that ran away to America during Japanese Imperialism while the Kim family stayed and fought a guerilla war. He killed thousands of our people real stand up guy America intrenched in the south. After the war the south was a military dictatorship. Not to mention things like the Bodo league massacre, Sinchon massacre, No Gun RI, ect. Not telling what Korea would look like had the North won but I think that should be left up to the Korean people not westerners. The south recently had a massive protest against US military presence there that took place in Seoul.

As a South Korean, North Korea as an existing state had been a living nightmare for our people. Through multiple generations, we all have at least one stories in our lives that involves North Korean aggression. Numerous Korean War veterans still live to this day. Their system, which is practically the last remaining cold-war style dictatorship today, still leaves a grave mark on the Korean people's history. Glorifying North Korea is nothing different from glorifying Nazi Germany, or any of the brutal, demagogue totallitarian states that had existed in history; where people suffer for the country's international showcase as self-sufficient, glorious country. North Korea is not a legitimate state, nor should it be.
