Couple of suggestion with your tank, run a filter on both hoses, discount fuel equals discount quality, more dirt etc. Also put a bung in your hoses, stops contaminates from getting in your vehicles fuel tank, insects and moisture etc, on the farm we run a flow meter for a reading of what we've used and what is left, that's an option.
Even though you say tank is clean , I would highly recommend a external fuel filter and lock on it as someone will help themselves

And a water seperator
Don't forget to have a chat to the local fire brigade so they can update their risk profile. You should probably have to put a flammable goods sign up at the gate too if you're going to stay in the good books for insurance purposes.

Chat to the firie,s but not official and he can't tell anyone as certification bullshit. Gear can be perfect and better than new shit just gets scrapped 😤 beautiful gear like his tank our history scrapped because of some bureaucrat 😔

Aww the memories of filling up our motorbikes on my uncles old farm from his on-site fuel bowser❤️ I think it was “Standard” fuel back in those days!

Yeah nice!
Interesting. A lot of small farmers I know went away from farm deliveries because the the fuel companies were charging 4,5 cents a litre above bowser price to have fuel delivered unless you were purchasing 10000 litres. Then bowser prices. Most farmers I know will have a 500-1000 litre tank in the ute or towed & will go to servo & purchase at better prices than delivered.
Im glad to see the vn ss didnt sell i was looking forward to seeing a video on getting it back on the road
Might be worth building a roof over the top for a bit of shade for the nasty summer sun
Awesome stuff man. The satisfaction on your face shows. Nothing like being more self sufficient.
I'll call in for fuel, check the tyres and windscreen thanks😁
Just walk away,the oil,the gasoline,the whole compound 😂

Love the new addition mate, but I tell ya lock that shit up mate. Don't trust people to do the right thing by ya, people see free fuel n they will nick it. Happened to us on our farm n once is too many
Great score on the fuel tank! Keep up the wonderful content mate! Cheers

Just keep in mind that the bung that should have been in the center is not only to drain it. but any crap/water in the fuel should settle there. so just watch out when you fill up a jerry can. Also, in the summer, just keep an eye on how much is coming out the top in vapour. when i was young and broke, i use to get 100 or 150 liters delivered and i think the last time i only got about 2/3's of it. it was under a tree as well. you can put extend the breather up the top, that will help a bit and in the shade is also better.

Our station had and underground tank with hand pump bowser. Being in the country didn't stop fuel getting nicked either
i’m exhausted just watching the amount of things you’re doing lol
Fuel saving for sure, haven't watched for a bit but good to see you keep busy. Need a tidy up but such is.
How good having fuel onsite 😱
Pump is a Wayne 700 series dual bowser
That bowser reminds me of the bp zoom 25 i used to get for my motox bikes
Id say that Bowser is post 85 86.. As previously it was labelled as Super etc.. great cool memorabilia to have though!!
That’s great will be handy next time I go past haha
Unleaded was introduced to Australia in 1985 your fuel Bowser has unleaded petrol on it so it was decommissioned from 1985 onwards
wow.. incredible..
Thats awesome. does it increase your fire risk? ie can't stay and fight now? in case of explosion?
Great video and great old GOLDEN FLEECE signature name of Australia 🇦🇺....get it repainted back to original signature..😊 best of luck with your new post on your refurbished shack/house.... Take care...😊

Good job mate bloody great…!! Do you think it may go stale…!!?? - maybe not within 3 months..??
Good idea with the fuel but how does it work being exposed outside to the sun? You guys at SA get some hot days is it safe to have it exposed like that in the heat ?
And a pretty sweet basketball hoop to go with it...
Is the tank bolted down, so it doesn’t tip over in a gale?
Killa make sure u lock it up my Pop had those fuel tanks on his farm 2 for diesel 1 for unleaded so much better than Servo runs

G'day Mark. If you want try RBS Imports at 19 kegworth road Melrose Park. New fuel nozzle $47. Plus heaps of car accessories o rings packs fuse packs panel beating gear cheap hammers air line gear porta powers list go's on. It's all cheaper than most suppliers and better than Chinese gear generally. Worth a trip or looking on line. Stocked my shed up can't get out of there without spending couple hundred every time. All you car nuts worth a look.🤙
Don't worry Mark, any hardcore car guy has a rather large and possibly embarrassing "junk pile". It's part of the lifestyle.
If you have a son or let jake come over put some bloody barriers 🤣 double layered for jake. My dad painted every golden fleece in vic and nsw in the late 70s early 80s
Grab a glass moisture catcher filter on your feed line ///
Bonzer!!!
Gday Mark Nice work on the tank i was going to say i could send you a brand new fuel gun but its diesel haha And bro i though Automotive Karnage and i where bad with project cars haha and thats only half of your collection Take it easy mate Byron 👍
What if you have fire?
nice
Small engines ie mower snippers etc should only ever run on 91 Mark
you need a good lock
My question is how long will it take to use 1000ltrs it might go off before u use it all

No filter wow your game
You wouldnt want to be buying 1000 litres of petrol in NZ, that could cost you about another $800
Self suffient. Sounds good but thats solar panels an electric hilux. Cheers bro
