What Government? As far as I am aware it was the Conservative Government who brought this up. Labour is soft on Islam and intend to toughen the hate crime law against any criticism of the religion of Islam bringing it in line more with the Law in Scotland as apparently Starmar discussed with Scottish Labour Leader Anas Sarwar.
