I listen to these as I fight terminal illness as doctors have told me to just sit but I REFUSE to just sit and wait out my life. I’m fighting for a cause, I’ve started an NPO, I’m working my ass off and I don’t care if it takes years off my life I WILL leave this world a BETTER PLACE. I don’t care about riches or fame, give me a smile on the face of someone enduring immense sorrow, give me someone receiving the healthcare they’ve always needed, give me the touching moment someone decides to keep on fighting versus giving up. Keep the money, keep it all, my palace will be the community’s happiness. Until this world literally buries me, I WILL FIGHT.
The road to success is littered with the shadows of excuses, yet the sun of accomplishment shines brightest on those too engaged in their journey to notice.
