I bought it and it's not great for under the eye. Looks cakey and dry and accentuates texture like the before video. It's decent for blemish coverage, but i wouldn't recommend for anyone who has dry skin.

Your undereye already looks concealed, you have no dark circles. This is helpful for no one but yourself

Aqua is also the first ingredient in silicone based products

Almost all concealers have aqua! So no it’s not water base by just having aqua as first ingredient! If dimethicone is right after aqua or any silicone then it’s not waterbased! Silicones have to be all the way at the bottom for it to be water based

Just bc it says Aqua first doesn’t mean it’s water based. Aqua just holds the product together

My eyes get very irritated and watery for no reason at all... so when using concealer, I place it a little lower than my under eye and tap it upwards slowly in little amounts towards the under eye area... this way I have bright undereyes without water streaks or irritating my eyes.

I do this too! I leave some of my dark circles visible near my waterline so my makeup looks more natural 😊

I agree with this trick! I used to slather concealer all the way to the outer corners of my eyes. Now I just focus on the dark area and use less product. Buff it in, try not to move the product around. Less is more!

You do have flawless under eyes naturally 😅 get back w me when u are 50 😂 I didn’t even wear concealer until I was 40!!! Concealer isn’t needed in most younger girls but it’s such a fad that they just do it! I always just wore foundation around my eyes when I was young you definitely could also get buy with that…don’t mess w concealer n all that crud if u don’t have to… the more you mess w ur eyes n pounce stuff on them the darker ur circles get prematurely by bringing blood to the surface and thinning the skin

ok, so for the person who actually has dark circles. you want to make sure your eye area is prepped. cleanse your face, use eye cream and primer. you might want to use a color corrector depending on how dark the area is. i'm someone with warmer skin so I mix a peach color corrector with my concealer. this is to avoid that pale color.

Hii , I’m new to concealer and my makeup under looks exactly like the patchy version i need help i’ve been using eye shadow palette orange as a color correcter idk if that’s what’s making my under eye patchy but these are my steps moisturize whole entire face with cerave moisturizer - color correcter kosa concealer my actual shade and then my to faced concealer a little lighter and then put milani setting spray then fit me setting powder

I am 13 and my under eye circle are so dark no concealer can help them 😢

start with color corrector first. elf has really affordable but useful ones.

Another trick is to be in your 20s with perfect under eye area

for you i think your smooth bright under eyes are mostly genetic which must be nice.

Love this! I have dry skin and my makeup can quickly turn cakey if I’m not careful. Also, I love that you mention the importance of the bases for the products. Hardly anyone ever talks about that. Though, having Aqua as the first ingredient doesn’t mean it’s water based. All liquid foundations and concealers have water in them (except oil based foundations and concealers, sometimes). So, you have to look out for ingredients that have -cone ending in the first 3 or 4 ingredients. If they do, then it’s probably silicone based. If not, then it’s water based. If I’m unsure, I’ll patch test on my inner forearm with both a water based and silicone based primer.

What brush and concealer are you using? And where can I get a puff like that? Love how big it is!!

No, your projection of your own insecurities makes you think people that you think have something “better” or less “imperfect” than you can’t have the same feelings that you do toward those things, in this case dark circles. No one needs concealer but she chooses to wear it bc she likes how it looks on her face, just like everyone else. Stop with the negative thoughts and comments and just think others can have a difference in what they think of their own self image.

This is true, except every concealer has water as their first ingredient. And the one you're using by Catrice in this clip is actually silicone based. If it lists something like glycerine next, then it is a water-based formula. But if the second ingredient ends in a -cone or -silo, it's silicone based. I think you just have naturally beautiful eyes!❤

*ALSO!* if any ingredient has the word “cone” in it, it’s a kind of silicone so it will *NOT* mix with water based stuff AT ALL

Umm I'm not sure if that's true. Most primer has silicone in it and it's not supposed to mix, it's there to fill in your lines/textures so your concealer/foundation will apply smoother.

This is wrong.. bad info .. the 1st ingredient on products typically always says water.. you must check the first 5 ingredients and make sure there’s no silicone in top 5 Silicone can have many names like dimethicone or anything ending in -cone or -xane I did the research and I’m not sure if this Catrice foundation I think she is using here is truly water based .. it might be Will have to double check top 5 ingredients ❤

Unfortunately I have DARK circles that are purplish grey, so this isn't enough cover for me

actually saying a product is water based simply because aqua is the first in the ingredients list is pretty invalid, cuz lots of silicone products have aqua as the first ingredient, i did read some reading and people say that aqua is just the emolient (i forgot if this is the right term) but trying to classify product like that is inaccurate

With my tiring job that doesn't get me enough sleep and have a chronic fatigue alongside with insomnia bcoz of messed up shifts, I tell u, my dark eye circles never gets better even with products or enough sleep or eating healthily.

yeah something similar to this happened to my sister. she tried to mix a water based and oil based concealer together bc one was too light and the other was too dark but it ended up turning gray so she was stuck with only one :( learning curve ig 😂

people don’t like their dark circles? This is news to me, I always thought they were a gorgeous feature. If Tim burton characters can be as unbelievably gorgeous with their dark circles, there’s no way they are a “defect”

girl you don't have any dark circle, that's just a slight discoloration. mine are dark circle and i wear full coverage concealer most of the times and yes the result will look like the first girl. the "less is more" doesn't apply if you have really dark undereyes like me

I accentuate my dark circles everyday XD I don’t put foundation across my nose, my whole nose actually, under eyes, and upper apples of my cheeks cuz I never break out there, I love my freckles, and I love my dark circles I do glam/grunge almost every day

skin filters is how you do the trick. you can clear tell that you're using them too. also you DON'T HAVE DARK UNDER EYES.
