Kiss isn’t really necessary for a tutorial because it’s so simple. Unlike betaflight where bardwell has 17 videos just explaining the latest version. Literally 5 hours explaining betaflight. Kiss can be summed up in 10 minutes

On the taranis qx7 can the stick trim be adjusted on the menu? I ask because I am making a custom controller by fitting it to a trigger controller for an RC tractor trailer and I don't want to leave out the trim adjustment on the case if i will need them. Thank you

Bro the price💀 I prefer the Foxeer Reaper 65A that is way less and will work with a Fettec FC just fine. The only reason to choose this one is because you are worried about having to repin your cable harness.

Nah man. I love my reapers. I have them in multiple 5 inch builds WITH fetec G4 and Kiss Ultra. The reason you choose this is because it feels way different. Fettec escs feel completely different from blheli escs. There is something to the whole sine wave thing, for real.

Love your videos Drainman. I’m an old (72) rc glider guy and have recently fell into the FPV trap. Have never built nor flown one but my wife got me a tyro 79 pro. Like the Fettec 65amp ESC. What’s your opinion on a Spektrum radio.

Elrs is fine it's not complicated if you follow the instructions some people have issues with it I was a noob at one point and I didn't have any trouble with it you can get a radio with it already built in the radio

Spectrum doesn't play well with FPV. You want to look at Radiomaster stuff, or radios with open, and edge tx. Radiomaster tx16 or Boxer will give you built in elrs, which is great. If you want to go with crossfire you just pop it right in the back and it's super simple. But you can start your elrs journey whenever you feel up to it. That's my 2 cents.

With a Fettec spike absorber I’ve literally never blown a Fettec esc. Many hard crashes where everything was destroyed but the FC and esc. Is this a common problem with Fettec?

Same. Never blew a Fettec ESC, but the spike absorber adds extra peace of mind.

I seem to blow most things up before I hit the air with my dodgy soldering. Got Bruce's problem. but if this 4in1 is as big as that Thumbnail, I might give it another shot.

frick fettec ESCS. I've had a brand new 45A have three mosfets slide off in a small crash, and another time bouncing off the road a pretty new 45A fettec esc lost a mosfet. Switched over to the 35A AIO , for 4S, works great so far.

Update.. This esc is almost as delicate as the 45 amper... I blew something cause its shuttering at higher thottle.. No major crashes .. Waste of money honestly at 115$

Everytime i see someone talk about FETTEC, they have blown it up. The definition of madness. Stop buying fettec is the solution.

Mines in customs. They might blow it up.

Xrotor 40 Amp ESC - they last longer than the racing quads - they should make the quad out of the ESC.

At one point i had the diatone 56 amp esc and it lasted a good while but on 6 s

That 45 amp doesnt leave any room for multiple caps in an Apex at all.. I had to flip the board around just to get the main cap with the spike absorber

So it's not actually 65 W it's 65 W bursts. I believe it runs like at 50.

Amp, not watt...Remember you would have to be pulling 260 amps all together on your quad to hit that amp limit. (And that's not gonna happen on a 5 inch.)
