I first heard this song back in 1997, I was then a high-school kid with barely basic knowledge of English, one of the very first Western songs I have ever been exposed to. I couldn't afford buying the cassette tape and I listened to it for years on a tape that my elder brother recorded from the radio; the sound quality was crap but we enjoyed the fact that we could understand the opening couplet and actually sing in Egnlish. Almost 20 years later, I am a professor of English and I still love this song.

And to be honest 78 million views...wow. A band from the 'no internet' era has so much views. Influencers today would kill for this views. It just proves that normal people from my (born in the 80-ties) generation still exist today. Greetings to all of you. This song brings back so many memories

This is one of the songs that makes me forget this covid nightmare, it takes me back to the 90s when everything was more simple. And one summer, all radio stations were playing it non stop, it was such a hot summer and i remember hearing it while being on the beach at the Black Sea in Romania.

I can never forget that great era. Great music, budding youth, oil paintings around me, science projects, sports, fun and frolic. That was the great high school era. Everything modern seems so hazy and materialistic now.
