Thank you so much for liking the crazy stuff I make!!! It always makes me nervous showing people my crafts. I am so glad to hear that other people like them too! I am currently trying to build my Winter Break Rainbow High dolls a winter log cabin.....if it turns out, I will be sure to post it!

Nice video as always! Oh the nostalgia! I remember my great grandmother teaching me how to make stuff with plastic canvas. I never got good enough to do big stuff or fancy patterns though. I did manage to make a little desk top pencil hokder for my mom. My great grandmother connected the sides. And the dress on trainwreck barbie! She looks so good and pretty! I remember these old doll dresses that reminded me of the "southern belle" dresses the girls at busch gardens wore ages ago. Huge puffy skirts that were all ruffly at the bottom and they had big hats. Not lacy looking like this one you made these crocheted dresses were heavy. They would go on a bigger doll. Very pretty! Thanks for the memories! You could make accesories like bkankets and stuff for any barbie horses you have. Thatd be cool. Love your videis! ❤❤

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a nice comment! I have loved these crochet and plastic canvas toys for as long as I can remember. So many great childhood memories are associated with these types of crafts, glad they are happy nostalgia for you too. My goal is to make Train Wreck Barbie an entire wardrobe full of hand crochet dresses, (Maybe so knits too). You are right, these dresses can get really heavy. The one Barbie is wearing here ways over a pound and used about 1500 yards of thread and yarn to make. I ❤️❤️❤️ those big dress you are talking about. In my opinion, the bigger and more poofy the doll dress, the better!😸

OMG i 💙💙💙💙💙💙 the dress. I just make blankets. Love that color of blue too. What a great job u did. Haven't done plastic canvas in years. My sisters & i had fun with it. Poor Brian always guessing what u r doing 🤣🤣.

I remember all those patterns. I used to love to pour over the Mary Maxim catalogue. I wanted a Pumpkin Patch kid (the CPK knockoff that they sold to make stuff for) so badly. Loved plastic canvas, but all the little squares drive my eyes crazy. I don't think I ever tried crocheting pineapples when I did a doll in a big dress, wish I'd done it while my eyes were more agreeable. This is really pretty stuff, Naomi. I also play with the dolls here, even the vintage ballerina barbie from the seventies. ...Part of me wants to joke about the wild turkeys that Brian's people are trying to take him back.

It is really fantastic to see that there are still so many fans of plastic canvas! It has been one of my fave things to craft with for a long time. You can make such fantastic things with it. Pineapple crochet is one of my fave stitch patterns because it is done in the round. It can be used on everything. Dresses, blankets, coasters, pot holders, sweaters....the possibilities are endless! It is super easy to take a doily pattern and turn it into a blanket just by changing the hook and yarn size. Maybe they are his people!!! That would explain a lot!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
