Made a good start off the line but got slowed up with a couple of riders sitting up into turn one and lost a couple of places. Dug in early on to try and make the places back and get up with the pack. By the en of lap 1 i was on the back of them but i knew it was going be a struggle from here to move foward. An unfortunate engine blow up infront saw the pack spread out and i did capitalize on a place, but then coming back around to redgate i didnt know what to expect grip wise and was over cautious, this cost me abit of time and left me with to much work to do. With lines that look like i had a sponsored track guide from etch-a-sketch i made the task harder than it needed to be. But plagued with brake issues all weekend i think i had a solid ride and made good progress just couldnt bridge that gaps with the lack of confidence in the braking zones.
