Woke up feeing up for this one, new master cylinder on new brake pads (again) calipers cleaned and lubed (again) flushed with fresh fluid (again). What could go wrong?....
Another poor 1st corner saw me with plenty to do on the opening lap but luckily for me i feel quite strong in the sector of the track so had the confidence to push right from the off. I made it onto the back of the group i needed to be with but a missed gear down the start finish strait saw the following riders pounce and push me back. A superb (if i do say so myself) run through starkey saw a double pass into mcleans that led to awesome drive around coppice and move up another place on the brakes into the foggy esses.
Despite my best efforts i just couldn't bridge the gap all the way to the group in front. id like to say another few laps and id of been up there but the brakes at this point were back to the bars again and i was struggling. Another solid finish as some dam good racing.
