Very mixed conditions leading up to this one. Our race was pushed back as a couple of races from the saturday were carried over so this ment we weren't out untill later on in the morning. Quite a few red flags and stoppages saw the races pushed back even further but this just highlighted how tricky the conditions were.
Not a bad start off the line and the track was dry untill we got the the bottom of the mountain and then grip fell off a cliff through Hall bends, the hairpin and barn corner. I had a moment early on at the hairpin but managed to keep it going this woke me up a little to stay calm and do nothing stupid as pace and position was good.
This was untill I ran wide ever so slightly out of Barn corner onto the damp line lost the rear so quickly and promptly stuffed myself into the fence. I couldn't believe 3 others went down aswell it just showed how tricky it was out there. Riders all good and i got my bike fixed to go again for the rest of the days action.
