What they're saying is absolutely correct. It is incredibly hard to find jobs here. Even their solutions like speaking good English doesn't guarantee you will land jobs easily. It depends on your luck. I can speak English very well and even then it took me months to find a proper stable job. To get that job I consider myself extremely fortunate. Unfortunately, so many desis who come here cannot speak English properly and this has created a negative image of desis here. You might be able to get a 9 IELTS score by cheating but if you can't speak properly here you cannot socialize or get a job. If you're coming here make sure you have enough savings to last you 6 months for rent + groceries without a job. Otherwise, it is very risky. My own roommate has not been able to find a job for more that 5 months. Working under a desi guy was also a horrible horrible experience and I had to change jobs to be able to afford rent.

@@karnalhr05 huge difference. Desi was paying minimum wage. The other guy is paying me a bit more but he's also very flexible. Desi employers will make you work every second of your shift.

Don’t know how many of you will read this. Bhai if you are planning to come here all alone! Please don’t! Otherwise be ready to suffer badly. Am not scared to suffer and tackle the challenges but it’s a big PAIN. If you don’t have accomodation, don’t have jobs and don’t have any family members then no one gives you a shit. Here our community is very abusive and specially if you are a non Punjabi student no one will help. I can share on more how badly I suffered. Things are very harsh!!! Though I have better skills I’ve also grabbed a full time job.

@@kushalsingla4454 I found my first sem too easy so I decided to study my 3rd year uni in my second sem, professors advertised a job in my fields that was supposed for 3rd year students. I applied and I outperformed everyone. Now I work full time and the employer is willing to sponsor me up. Everything now hangs on my personal decision to continue uni or leave it. (Meanwhile am one of those 1% people who are really passionate about their field and are here to excel in it) my intention was never to here drive Uber do domino’s and flex myself that am done that’s enough for me. I’m a self learnt web developer and a ad specialist, my skills got me the job not my uni. All the best. Just wanted to help people who are stuck here in the rat race of Uber eats and shity job rather they can do far better. Cheers ayy
