Angelo Alejar the Catholic Church in your search refers to the universal Church from the bible. Ptr. Jeff was referring to the Roman Catholic church now. I grew up in a Catholic School St. John Nepomucene Parochial School. And really the 2nd commandment was removed. Cause if not wala dapat images sa loob ng Church. I found out about that by reading the bible myself. :) God bless

FYI po in the Bible the 10 commandments were not arranged into numbers like the 1st commandment is blah blah blah, the 2nd commandment is blah blah blah. Hence, we see that there are actually 3 ways to arrange the Decalogue (1) Jewish (2) Western Catholicism at (3) Eastern Catholicism. Ang arrangement ng 10 commandments sa Eastern Catholicism po ay pareha lang sa Protestant listing.

FYI po pastor. Hindi po tinanggal ang second commandment instead na incorporate po sa 1st commandment which talks about worshiping God. Nagkakaroon lang po ng pagkakaiba ng division ng commandment ang Catholic at ibang religion o born again, ngunit wala pong inaalis o tingatanggal ang Catholic sa sampung utos ng Diyos. Just so you know. God bless all of us.
