I just love this sister and her family!! She is so loving and thankful for all she has. Her house is a home. There's a difference between the two. Everyone is together not far away and sharing family time. With larger homes, the families now are separated in different areas different levels. Yes, we all wish for bigger homes. I see her children playing, doing their school work and being so close. Her involvement with them when she brought her baby home was truly touching. She was right there with them all as she was sitting rocking and nursing. What a beautiful caring mom she is. She included all of them and showed interest no matter how tired she was. I remember those days now that I'm older. The days were long, but as I look back now, the years were shorter. It goes by fast Julie. Your home will be filled with all those memories and still be the prefect place and size for you and your children to come home to visit.

Just gone done watching! Gets busy when you have 5 kids to tend to, and have to plan a trip to Walmart without the hubby seeing his gift! (I have a feeling he saw it, as I required the Store Standards to help cart it to the cash area, and to the car. I looked to my right, and he was sitting there with one of the kids....)

Of all of Julie’s siblings, I think Julie is the most half/half of Chad and Jennifer. Bonnie is all Chad’s side and Ellie is all Jennifer. Ruby and Beau also favor the Griffith side, but that’s just me!

It's actually such a great idea keep a box of your siblings keepsakes. It really does change the mindset of keeping a box in storage. It's easier to go through a box and think.... awe... maybe one day I'll want this... and then easier convincing yourself you really don't need to keep it and take up space. But if it is a box of your siblings stuff there isn't that tug of war in your mind about keeping it or tossing it. And then one day everyone appreciates it.

My family recently is going through a family breakdown and it's complicated and I'm sure it's complicated in your case as well. My grandfather and grandmother don't answer my phone calls. I can not explain the feeling and pain of granddaughter who wants to be in touch and does not get an answer. My grandparents were not at my sister's newborn son's birthday party. I think consoles are great if not better than traditional board game. My siblings and I definitely bonded more playing mario and wii party, but it also taught us patience and sharing as we didn’t all a controller each 😂 such a poignant childhood memory of mine.

Julie i know how you feel my mom sold the home they've been living in since I was just graduating grade 8 and are moving to another province and she brought me a bunch of my old stuff so now I have nothing in that house and she's moving in a few months to start a new adventure for her and my step dad.

I think the negative attention made things worse and now she’s distancing herself as Julie says above because she doesn’t want anymore of that bad attention. It’s a shame. I miss seeing the family all together.

I’ve never commented on this matter. It’s none of my business but it is sad for the cousins. They are missing out on so many memories and bonding because of their mother’s choices. Your cousins become your lifelong friends.

I have an anti donation dad too. I had to sneak donations out of the house, or schedule donations and put them where the donations could not be seen from the front door. Hoping dad would not see the truck pull up. He is not living with me now. I can donate freely.

It isn't bare, they have always kept things clean and simple. It's just easy for things to pile up that you don't need. They are cleaning it up because it always feels good to leave your home clean (whether that is for a week trip or a 2-year mission). Also yes, if Bonnie ends up living there it will be ready for her.

Porclin Dolls scare the he'll out of me only because I had a haunted porclin doll that rocked off the shelf by itself. No one was walking, jumping etc nothing was disturbing it. It did by itself fell off the shelf lost its eyes
