Switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading. This game is intense

Ghost is actually voiced by Craig Fairbrass who also voices Gaz in MW2. This gave birth to so many fan theorises that said Gaz survived being shot in the head at the end of COD4 and then become Ghost. But Ghost is an entirely different person to Gaz if you look into his lore and backstory comic, unfortunately Gaz is dead with Soup and Price being the only two survivors. Speaking of Craig Fairbrass he actually appeared in the movie Cliffhanger (1993) as the character Delmar. So it's cool that the game even made a nod to that film with the mission "Cliffhanger". Around this time Call of Duty started to pull heavily from more pop culture films and shows so alot of fun references. From The Rock (1996) to Aliens (1986) Red Dawn (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) to name a few.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the game! The more I see this game's intro and recap of the first game with the clips and the music, the more epic it feels each time. This game definitely has some amazing voice work for sure. I especially love the additions of Lance Henriksen (General Shepherd) and Keith David (Sgt. Foley), absolutely legendary voices (especially as a huge Mass Effect fan lol). And after going the whole previous game with Soap as a silent protagonist, Kevin McKidd doing his voice this game with his incredible Scottish accent is everything. 😍 "Take Down" is definitely THE MOST hectic and insane mission in my opinion, and you did well getting through it. 💀 It was definitely the mission I was most dreading to do on Veteran. Can't wait for the next video! 🙌

Ok, MW2. Two things of the bat for this game. There have been many great villains before and after this game. But Vladimir Makarov is without a doubt the best one we had. And you know he is evil because apparently every Russian the west considers bad has to be named Vladimir😅. Like I even have to say who he was based on even back then....😂😂😂 . Also the music in the og mw trilogy was done by Hanz Zimmer and that score...That score is phenomenal. Shepherd is also one of my favourite characters because he is a general that acts and Soap is Scottish now. Enjoy.

That snow level is legendary. They even had it in the "Abduction movie. I had a ton of fun watching you play it. This episode and is awesome. 🙌

Glad you are enjoying this game! I played the original in college and I can’t tell you how controversial that “No Russian” mission was here in the US. The backlash here and around the world forced them to make that mission skipable after the game came out. The mission didn’t bother me much, but I understood the outrage. This was my favorite game out of the series and I hope you continue to enjoy. ❤

the mission was skippable in the OG '09 from release, or ir was in the UK). the level even came with a warning that it will make players uncomfortable and in not doing it, you wouldnt be losing anything/penalised (as no trophies or achievements were given for the mission).

I remember it as I got the MW2 limited edition 360 for Christmas. That mission, even to this day, is still talked about. I don't think there have been any CoD missions that caused that much controversy.

Modern Warfare 2 is my all time favorite from the entire series, there isn't a single flaw in it for me other than hearing someone's name being called 300 times (scenes from next episode) 😁 Also even though you're playing on Regular difficulty (which makes it easier to advance without killing everyone), that was a crazy run in Takedown, you completed the mission in like 10 minutes! Playing on Veteran I take 10 minutes to clear that first area of the favela on a good day, and then making all the way to the top it feels like the mission will never end 😵But it's a very close depiction of real-life favelas here in Brazil! Good thing you're enjoying it because like I said this one is 10 out of 10!

They caught a lot of backlash for having a section where you kill those civilians. I remember seeing it on the news.

Nice to see you start a new game in the series. I'm not that familiar with them so good fun for me to watch something new. I really liked that snowy area mission with the snowmobile drive at the end, that was probably my favorite I've seen so far.

Oh damn, that death was so perfect at cliffhanger, everyone makes that mistake (it took me 8 tries to get the climbing over). Sadly Gaz is death but at least u got soap and ghost now, good video. Tips: don't get too tempted to take someone out yet since you're in new terrain remember patience is key especially in stealth missions, make sure u are sure the people u take out are dead, u can cut down the game volume or sound to hear your teammates. Your stealth has improved, when it comes to stealth u can stealth kill someone if u move close and melee them from behind, all games have this wonderful mechanic

That wicked ''friendly fire'' moment at 45:48 had me cracking up, I used to do the exact same thing when playing it, just couldn't hold it🤪When Makarov called me a traitor, I was like you're damn right coz I'm literally an undercover agent, no mate of yours lol. The 3rd game is my favorite, but this one is legendary. If you can find an Xbox 360 disc of the third game. It will play on newer Xboxes thanks to backwards compatibility. They might have a digital version. I'm not sure.

Well, kicking off another great series with style. I forgot No Russian was so early on, it definitely seems like an odd mission, and ultimately a bit pointless considering the resolution, but hey, they went there. Well done with your sharpshooting on this one Jonesy, I think you had a good few hits there. 👏 Enjoyed the re-introduction of Soap as the mentor role rather than the main character was a nice touch. Here's to another amazing series. Oo rah!

This is my first CoD game, and I played it on dad's office laptop in 2010 By the way, as far as I know, the mission "No russian" was cut in the Japanese and German versions of the game, but not in the Russian

First time I played the campaign back in 2009, I couldn't get myself to shoot the innocent people at the airport. I just walked behind them. Try shooting Makarov next time and see what happens...LOL

Ok to be honest i think everyone from last video told you that Gaz died in the first Modern warfare as you saw this part you will see Gaz died by Zakhaev if you can't tell What Gaz Look like. He is wearing the hat Cap with UK Icon as he got shot by Zakhaev this here 2:46 *and also you going to like the new characters of modern warfare 2 and wish you luck in your gameplay ! :D*

@@JonesySpaceCat Well it happens but the fact that you can shoot your own team but specially not Captain Price and Gaz cuz they are pretty much immortal of get killed by the player but it still will fail you the mission by saying this "Friendly Fire are not Tolerated" if you shoot you're teammates oh well atleast you will Love Ghost in MW2 he is a good Character as Gaz cuz its the same Voice actor.

They have made MW2 Campaign remastered. Now they have to make MW2 Special Ops remastered. By far my most favorite to play. Id even prefer that over Black Ops 1 zombies. 😮❤😊
