Peter Schmeichel for me. I modelled my game on him growing up, except I preferred to be a ball playing goalkeeper. My style for one on one's though were based on his handball style! Phenomenal keeper. Of the more modern era Buffon was immense. So many classy goalkeepers about!

Great video Ben. Grew up watching Pat Jennings on TV (not that there was much footy on TV in those days) absolute beast of a GK, biggest hands I've ever seen. Him and my local team GK in the late 70s / early 80s (Willie Carrick) where both a huge influence in me being a GK when I went on to play footy myself.

Didn’t realise that they played the crowd noise in the stadium - thought it was just a TV controlled thing.

Petr Cech, never had to worry at all when he was in goal for us.

You never forget your first love and the first keeper I loved was Adriano Basso of Bristol City. What a man, incredible shot stopper and a top humble bloke as well. Almost took us to the Prem and will always hold a place in my heart. Loving the behind the scenes stuff, immediate subscribe.

Shay Given, definitely one of the most underrated in prem history. Look at his triple save vs spurs in the fa cup.

I have watched Wrexham since 69/70 yes I am that old 🥴. It is Wonderful to see where Wrexham are going it is just Stunning. I remember Ben when he first played for us and he was always so full of enthusiasm and after the first game of his return to Wrexham I had the Pleasure of meeting him in the Corridor at the Bamford suite. He was an absolute joy and at 39 he was still so full of Enthusiasm and had time for everybody. Oh and as an Aside what a fantastic Goalkeeper 👍👍👍👏👏

I’d have to go with Manuel Almunia. My now-wife and I met him in Barcelona Airport and he was such a nice bloke; all I did was nod and smile and he came and sat down at our table with his wife and chatted about football and holiday stuff. He then ended up on the same flight as us and waved to us as he got off the plane. Little did we know that he was flying in to L*ton to sign for Watford, and the rest his (major) history. That double-save against Leicester and what happened afterwards will seriously take some beating in terms of the greatest moment in my football-fan life!

As a Brazilian, my favourite GK is Dida! Played great in the National Team, Milan legend and also a legend from my club, Corinthians. I think he is kind of underrated today, but he is one of the best that ever played the game, in my opinion. Cheers from Brazil, Ben!

Being a Westham fan always grew up watching David James and Rob Green, However the one that has stuck with me and words of advice he gave me David Seaman. Bumped into him on the plane, he was more than happy to take some time out invite me up to first class and talk goalkeeping with me. Was happy to take a photo with me even though i had my Westham keepers kit on me. Taking time out of his holiday and writing a note with words of encouragement and advice really speaks for him and the type of character he is.

Petr Cech is my all time favourite but thanks for the content, it's awesome to see the life of a goalkeeper!

My favorite keeper as an 18-year old Baggies fan Ben is pretty self explanatory. Kept us in so many games, proper pro on and off the pitch, masterclass at Old Trafford springs to mind. It’s... Boaz Myhill. p.s. realistically though Ben, you’re a proper modern Baggies legend and I wish you and watford the best for the season. There’s a reason your picture is in the Brummie Road 👍

My favourite goalkeeper right now is Alisson. Loved him already back at Roma and now hes doing amazing at Liverpool. 8 saves in the Champions League final and keeping a clean sheet But my all time is Van Der Sar. Probably also a big factor in that is in my dutch pride... but he was amazing
