What is it with this "seem(s)" being so often wrongly applied? "May seems Eye Tink sorta kinda probably" are all "indefinite" terms that don't fit them fools, they just plain *ARE* troublemakers, & 1 fine day they'll (not "probably") be on the receiving end of the kind of crap they dump out.

Didn’t understand why Judge Mathis was badgering the plaintiffs about what type of object he hit him with. What difference does it make?! If someone has blood rushing down their face, I doubt they’re going to stop and say, “hey what is that, that you hit me with?”

The judge failed in this case miserably. The judge shoud have sent this case o civil court. Instead tell them sue for illegal eviction. That was a felony assault not no misdemearnor. Poor folks seeking justice have to go through so much bullshit even on national tv.

ain't nothing deep rooted about that case the lady that owned the house thought she could do and say what she wanted because the girl lived there when somebody stood up to her she called her son

Marquise should've sued all of them in civil court. If his girlfriend wasn't allowed to have him there, they needed to speak to her privately or ask her to leave. When his girlfriend told him to leave he should have stayed at his mother's house and called the police. This is so violent and messy. Defendant will definitely lose his job if he hasn't already

I knew from the moment the mother in law opened her mouth what type of woman she was.

Never rent from family. I rented from my grandfather. He was a slumlord. He wanted me to renovate a house his daughter, my aunt, completely trashed. When I tried to move out, he caused a big scene and she hit me while I was driving. Never again. They're completely out of my life now. Thank God!!!

I blame the mama for EVERYTHING!

Did the mom really turn to her overgrown coward son and say, "now u can say it?" The way her and her son acted at the end of court really showed what kind of lowdown dirty people they are. That man have lifetime injuries. He need to take they ass back to court and sue for more.

I knew the mother and son were lying, but DEFINITELY at the end when she told her son, “you can say it!” and he came up with that corny line that he had rehearsed and that really really bad “Nae Nae”… She’s going to get him hurt with those puppet strings she’s pulling.

The MIL said to the SIL, now you can do it. And this woman thought this was funny. She started stumbling over her words when JM told her it was illegal for her to kick a tenants door in. She thought she was gonna get away with it because it was her property.

Felicia O testified that the Plaintiff pushed her yet she said she told the police he threatened her. Make the lie make sense. Defendant stole him and bragging about it. SMDH

She's lucky she didn't get hurt by walking in his house without permission. That's break and entering.

This made me so angry 😡. I’m originally from the south side of Chicago and dealt with ignorant violent people like that family for years. Been jumped cause I was winning a fight, snaked from behind and hit with a bat all in the name of ignorance.. 😤 I wish the plaintiff and his GF the best.

Same here …she not going to stop until her son is doing time or on a T shirt..I can’t stand those type.

The ending showed the pettiness, immature ways those defendants have. It's no doubt they all were aggressive with those two. They're so ignorant that they literally admitted what he did on camera while dancing and making childish sounds. SMH!!!

The momma really trained her son to say all that stuff after the verdict lol they all need to grow up

He definitely deserves more than 5k. He had a life long mental plat in his face. And then the way they carried on afterwards shows no remorse. He needs to get paid for life !!

The mother should have been brought up on charges too. I think she was a part of him being assaulted.

The mother was aggressive when she kicked the door or even charged through it after knocking. She wasn't invited in and I'm glad the Judge established her limitations as a landlord. It didn't matter what the boyfriend called her, they were just words. The Son-in-law escalated the altercation by introducing an object. We call can see by the gash of the wound that hands or even a fist wouldn't make that kind of mark. His skull was busted. I'm glad the boyfriend won. They were overbearing in the whole incident. And That dance at the end was too much. shame on them.

Clowns. They should be ashamed of themselves. All that shucking and jiving after the verdict. Wow.

The defendants was lying 🤥 if she love her like a daughter why does it matter if her man is there they paid the rent they was wrong all the way around the board and I don't believe that man put his hands on that woman he don't seem like he was raised like that

The mom started the whole thing and she knows it. She should have never just walked in the house everything that happened after that she instigated it

the mother testifies that the doors don't lock on the residence she rents to the couple. mam, you are the landlord!!!! the defendant's behavior after the verdict convinces me he did have a weapon and lied to judge mathis.

He let that man’s words to his mother cause him to physically and very unfortunately assault him. 😮

1. The defendant's mother in law needs to look up the landlord/tenant laws before she let someone rent her property. 2. I would never rent from family and friends...

Bottom line, the defendant's mother had NO BUSINESS busting up in their apartment like Dog The Bounty Hunter...🤷🏽

Brass knuckles was most definitely the weapon! Surprised no one thought of that .

That injury is for the rest of his life,,, he should have sued for 15 thousand more for pain and suffering😡

So the “mother” uses her son as an attack dog. It’s all fun and games until he gets locked up behind her madness or laid out permanently.
