One of the greatest characters to ever grace the game, going to be a sad day when he leaves .

He brought people together, connecting the club, the city, the fans, the players etc. What a man he is!

i've been supporting Liverpool since i was a kid and ten years ago i would not believe you if you told me we are going to experience something like this with jurgen , it's like shankly stuffs i used to read the old days, legendary. doubters to believers developed into me during years and helped me in my personal life i wish the journos and papers knew how this man affects people's life from all around the world. jurgen lives forever

the MAN will leave a stamp on the club even when held isn’t there, and Team Liverpool can and will carry it forward definitely. Klopp is a path breaker, and others will succeed just by following the direction that he has shown.

Love this guy. I thought I had gotten to terms with him leaving but after watching this I’m sad again 😢. Where do you go from #1? He’s not just a great manager but a great man too.

Jurgen is one of the best managers when it comes to communicating to fans/media. talks like a normal human and not like a ten hag or any other manager. you would be lying if you say you wouldn't want to manage your club, Had people from my brothers to random fans I talk to over the years say they wanted Klopp when he left dortmund

Yet again I am struck by his wisdom - not just about the game but about how to be in life. We treasure these interviews and will miss hearing his thoughts once he leaves. Thanks for everything, Jürgen ❤

As an LFC fan I both destest UTD and respect UTD. They are our greatest rivals and a true giant of the global game. I expect us to go there and pull their pants down....but you just never know in a UTD V LIVERPOOL game.

Yup, people trying to put the city rivalry over United these days but they can only dream of drawing the same kind of emotions from fans

As much as I like to listen to Mr Klopp, but shouldn't you guys leave him alone to do some training or rest? In just a few days, how many press conferences - pre and post matches - and interviews do you need? No wonder he is tired, bombarded by more or less the same questions again and again and again.

I understand why he must leave now. I think he's making the right choice. The neverending media obligations must suck the life and soul out of you. Everyone wanting a profound sound bite from him. I think he'd extend his contract if there was an agreement to have Pep Linders handle the press instead, and let him focus on what he loves, the sport. Love him. Eternally grateful for his impact on the club, the city and beyond.

I'm still in denial, we are never gonna get another one of him. Pure diamond of a bloke

​@@jonathanbarron8311 Friend, just give us a break with Fergusson. He was couching in an era where he didn't have any rivals, winning lots of trophies with 80 points. Whereas Jurgen lost the PL 2 times with 93 and 97 points, one point behind 115 charges every time.

A brilliant fotball manager and an even better person along with bill shankly l would listen to and follow to the end of the world

Because he won it playing 5-6 acccademy players which was developed in a club and had almost no game time in real football against that chelsea squad which i am sure it would be close to 1b the way they signed players every then and now

We love you so much you’re my biggest inspiration and you always will be

He is an amazing manager. Statistically not the best but he is an Icon, a legend, and the most charismatic coach we've ever seen.

He’s got the best win rate of any Lpool coach in history and has consistently been at parity with the best team ever on a fifth of their budget (along with a string of other disadvantages). He’s one of the best managers of all time.

Over the years of his lfc management, he's given me more than just football highlights. He's put perspective on life. Calmed me down in everyday living outside of football. "What would Jurgen Klopp say" is one of my go to view on things. At the same time, we, Liverpool, uniquely as a city, have given him the things to make him thrive. Our outlook is one of fight against adversity. This is why he has a kinship with us. Something most UK cities simply don't have. I'll move forward as a wiser and calmer person after he's gone. I suspect most of you feel the same.

Thanks ITV Sport. What a wonderful man and manager Klopp is. You should have had more success in silverware if you would have had the chance to compete under fair circumstances, but the PGMOL and the 115 FC stopped that from happening.

It’s probably just me being an Arsenal fan as we haven’t won the CL 😂but I love the FA cup. Oldest competition in football, gives teams in lower divisions opportunities. It’s fantastic. For me 4th and 5th should not get you CL football. It should be top 3 and the winner of the cup. You can always put contingency in place for if the winners of the league also win the cup but It deserves more recognition. Imagine a championship side winning the cup and being in the CL next season with the revenue etc and being able to grow as a club through achievement. Would be so much better.

Terrible questions, looking to put some gloss on the fa cup, which lost its magic many years ago. Playing semi finals at wembley was the start of its demise, plus making the top 4 is more important. It's unfair to ask a foreign manager about fa cup history and the magic of it. I can remember the Jim Montgomery Sunderland save and Ricky villa goal, but can barely remember the winners of the last 20 years. It has lost its magic, and the FA are mainly to blame.
