My theater group is performing Spongebob this June (I’m playing Plankton) and while this isn’t exactly how if sounds in the licensed version (which is the one we’re doing) it still sounds this awesome! I didn’t even know what this song was until I found this, and this is beautiful! You really nailed the looks of all the characters and I love the style and different shots! Really great stuff

I FINALLY watched the original movie! It’s so good and funny. “No control” part was my favorite part of the play. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it live in person. And I’m a HUGE SpongeBob fan. This was a great animation too!❤

Nice to see there are other people who loved this show. I remember seeing this during a dress rehearsal for VIP’s, I had front row seats and even got a selfie with Patchy the Pirate. I was wondering how they would make a Spongebob musical but I was amazed. The plot was great and they made it somewhat gritty while also keeping Spongebob’s sense of humor. And the actors portrayed the characters perfectly. They managed to create a stage play with visual gags along the line of the cartoon. I was so sad to hear the show closed, but it’s memory will always live on in my heart. This video brought a tear of joy to my eye.

I liked that the spongebob and patrick's patherms dosen't follow their cloths. It reminds me so much of chowder

I remember singing this at my aunt's house when I was 8 and crying because of how deep my voice was for the reporter.

I'm still so shook that one of the most edgy songs Bowie ever put out is in a musical about Spongebob.

Every single year I come back to this specific animation because it just silently lingers in my mind until I remember it exists, this is so silly and so well made
