I always do that. They look over me trying to make me feel ashamed, but I look straight into their eyes with poker face to assure they understand: "you don't control where I look, nor what I want to do". After 5 seconds they look away and don't dare to look over me again. Men need to understand, if you're not looking with luxury and don't touching anyone, there's nothing wrong and nothing to do about, even the laws becoming more and more weird, you can't be blamed if you aren't doing nothing wrong. The submission most men demonstrate is what make these ladies think they can go to the gym almost naked and make you feel ashamed. They look, comment with friends and are ever giggling while looking to the big guys they feel attracted for, we should not do the same, but I won't give up my free will and become a neurotic policing where I look while they do what they fucking want. They say equal rights, but what they're doing is submission and there's nothing more pathetic than a submissive man, it's totally the opposite of our nature.

This is exactly how I feel at the gym. I don't know how to do the exercises without looking at something, but everywhere there is a butt that if you look at it could cause problems

I don't mind if people plants at me but there's this one weird guy that looks like a generic NPC with a goatee and I swear every time he's at the gym with me and I look in his direction at all he's staring at me now that's weird LOL

That's why I go early morning, I had to completely modify my schedule because of this, there are no bs people in the gym early in the morning, and you would find the most mature people you have met in a gym there, vibe is so good that I, who used to sleep at 4 in the morning doesn't mind waking up at 4. It's worth it

@@yoeyyoey8937 I hate to break it to you, pal, but this video is satirical. That no matter where you're looking, there's gonna be a girl who gets offended that you're looking in her direction. He was not turning to look at them, but turning to look away from them. No normal person is gonna go to the gym and stare at the floor/cover their eyes like bumbling idiots just to protect someone from accidentally getting glanced at. The "annoying" part referred to is people getting overtly offended that someone looked in their general direction. Almost 100% of the time, myself and everyone I know are zoning out and are not truly looking at that person. I'm not one to tell someone to cover up more at the gym, but if you personally have a problem with someone looking at your body (male or female) and you're doing a lift that exposes that body part, cover up.

@@YSG202 that makes sense but you said that this is what happens as per the video, and in the video he was looking at people. I never had this issue in a gym before so I can only surmise that others are having this issue because they are actually looking at people. I don’t think it’s about looking at the ground or whatever, it’s more about being aware of where your gaze is and mitigating social friction by adjusting what you’re doing or how, kinda like in any other aspect of life. Kinda like when you see a panhandler at a red light, you notice them and then pretend you didn’t notice them instead of zoning out in their direction which might give them a cue to approach you.

This is me at the gym, practically closing my eyes during every set now 😭😂

Smh...people see a few videos on social media and think it's the norm in real life at all gyms. I've never seen women accuse a guy for being a creep nor have I been accused if it. The reason I brought my own equipment is the inconsiderate mofos sitting on equipment texting and taking selfies, not wiping the equipment down after using it and the naked old men walking around the locker rooms. That's why I hated going to gyms.

I just got back into the gym after an 8 year layoff (Cancer, injuries, and I took Mike Mentzer’s thoughts on extra rest days to heart and took a few thousand extras just to make sure I had recovered from the last workout). Anyway… Twice as many women training, half as many guys, and at LEAST 30-40% of these people are recording themselves. Most of them appear to have no clue what they’re doing in there. They’re going to be super confused why the quiet old guy in the background gets better every week while they stay the same. It’s a damn shame too because a few of them actually look like they could do very well in competition.

From gamers, to athletes, to soldiers and EVERYONE, movement triggers sight. Some people really can't help but check hands for shit regardless who the person is. It is an interesting performance increase where you stare into dead space and lift the weight. But like image if guy's suddenly picked up a dumb ass trend to work out with cups and football shorts. Wouldn't be comfortable for either. Here's the thing though leggings and other things like them are comfortable and raise up less because all the fabric is tight but stretchy.

The problem isn't women in general but rather just women with cameras and tripods. Most of the hot chicks at my gym are cool because my gym doesn't allow that recording tiktok cancer BS. It's the whole social media ego turning women into the crazyiness you see nowadays. Before all of this, everyone was chill and respectful.

I just straight up close my eyes, and focus on what I'm trying to accomplish sometimes lol.
