No Choice: Marge Piercy

Marge Piercy is 81 years old. She grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Detroit. In 1953, during her freshman year of college, she fell in love. In those days, contraception was illegal in most states, and it was certainly illegal for unmarried women. She had dreams of becoming a writer. She didn’t want to have a baby. This is her story.

Criticizing and letting this lady down can be easily done..but she couldn't put her dreams down that too at an early age with a responsibility when she wasn't prepared for a baby .. more power to this lady❤👏

So she couldn't abstain from sex, then killed her baby, and did it all for selfish reasons. Her ultimate goal in life was success and pleasure. A good model hof how not to live life.

Lots of young women are befuddled by love. A nun once said, "If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament." About 11% of pregnancies miscarry early, i.e., spontaneously abort. So that is God's plan. That's how much your God values the unborn. Hmm, what happens to all those little immortal souls supposedly implanted at the moment of fertilization? Especially since the Catholic Church shut down Limbo? So I hesitate to say a human being should never interfere with a pregnancy.

@@Vurbanowicz I'm no longer Catholic but a Jewish believer. The Lord created us to produce life, we are not the authors of life though. She's a terrible person who's proud of being a whoar and then killing the results of her bad actions. She deserved to suffer for her own sins.

@@dangelotringali7527 I noticed you didn't say you were a women, or any individual with a vagina. Yet you set yourself as your own little god over this woman's decisions, and you would prefer to see her work snuffed out for no good reason. Not to mention that it's very bold of you to insult someone when you can't even spell the word "whore" properly.

She did not kill a baby. She refused to make one. All antiabortionists are willfully deeply ignorant about biology because they live in the Middle Ages. And yes, she refused to make a baby because she wanted to be a human being rather than a poor brooding mare the way you want to keep women. A wonderful role model who is too smart to be intimidated by bullshit like yours. If you don’t want unwanted pregnancies, make birth control and sex education widely available. But you don’t want that either of course because it’s never about the babies: it’s about your obsession with sex and your oppressive, sexist, medieval idea that a woman should have sex only to make babies and pregnancy is God's punishment for not abstaining. And of course you are also the biggest sex abusers because you do it in the dark taking advantage of the weakest and most vulnerable.
