It always cracks me up when they say what the car is. "It's a 1963 Chevy Imapala SS". It hasn't been a 1963 Chevy Impala SS since the day(s) they changed the frame, engine, interior, etc. They should say, "It started out as a....".

It takes a lot of brain and work to try to get a car with that much hp down the track. I work on a car that runs 7,s in the quarter and makes a 1000hp and we have trouble getting that to hook up and go. Don't knock it until you try it. NICE JOB AND NICE BADASS CAR.

A lot of these guys are running hemis. They've always been a dominant motor choice. As far as the haters saying they lose too much, well the truth is they win more than they lose, keep in mind, this is a 4,000 lb. all steel, original glass car. I personally have a lot of respect for this team. Some of the nicest guys I've met.
