What a fine actor Edward Mulhare was, to say nothing of gorgeous, with a voice to die for.

That's on my list of places to travel once the world opens up again and it's safe to do so!

I found the episode - it is called "Double Trouble". John Erman Jean Holloway October 9, 1969 The captain has been getting rid of Mrs. Muir's suitors. The latest one, Sean Callahan, is his double and claims to be a descendant of the captain. Mulhare played Callahan.

This video was great fun to watch! Carolyn was so hoping she had a real live Captain Gregg in Callahan but of course that was impossible! There’s only one Captain Gregg! As she admits at the end of the episode: “He’s nothing like you.” She should have realized that after knowing the real thing, all others would simply pale by comparison. That said, I’ll admit that Mr. Mulhare was definitely yummy as both Daniel and Sean. TFS!
