  • @TheSewingRoomChannel

    @TheSewingRoomChannel

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hi JG216. I haven't used felt in my sewing projects very often, and I worry how it would hold up during the wash cycle. Also, you want fabrics that protect from the heart and will not melt. If you have a Joann Fabrics and Crafts store near you, sign up for their coupon app that you keep on your cell phone. Often, they have 50% off coupons, and 20% off total purchase. I have the coupon app in my cell phone, and I use it all the time. Also, some Walmart stores cell fabric, and their prices are about half the cost. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

    hello I am new to sewing and quilting. I have 1 question. How do you sew perfectly straight line when quilting the potholders? I am using the diagonal potholder and want it to look good, since i will be giving these away for gifts. thanks for your assistance in making potholders

    Hi Nancy. When stitching on a diagonal, keep the bottom corner closes to you pointed directly at you at all times. Practice on some scrap fabric. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
