I'm in the same boat as Francisco. I've felt at a standstill with poi for several months now. You have always inspired me, and I have missed your videos. Thank you...I can't tell you how much I needed this right now.

Nick I have you to thank for getting into poi in the first place, and I'm so happy to see you still spinning on youtube after all this time. My level of poi activity has fluctuated over the years, but every time I see a new vid from you I get the urge to play again! Just need to actually work on new things instead of just playing with the stuff I'm already comfortable with. Anyway, thanks for all the enthusiasm and lots of love from the USA.

Urgh those damn planes!! I've been spinning for 10 years and still can't get them quite right. I can do it properly with concentration, but as soon as I start dancing around those old bad habits come in. Having videos like these available back in the day would have helped! Thanks again Nick :D

I really like that you're focusing a lot on playing around with the standard open rythmic patterns as opposed to closed and tight technical movements, would you be able to play around with cork screws like this as it's the same core movement?

Kara Estes You can totally do poi while wearing a corset. As with any performance art, be sure to put in lots of practice in your chosen outfit before debuting your moves in front of people!
